Image copyright problem with Image:Isy Suttie.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Isy Suttie.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey 17:21, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Vadmgano.JPG[edit]

You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:25, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 20[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Charles Tisdale Howard, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Pipestone, Eckford and Episcopal Church. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Apparent threat of WP:OUTING[edit]

This edit [1] on DrFleischman's talk page appears to be a threat to 'out' another editor. Please know that as a matter of policy (see WP:OUTING) Wikipedia prohibits outing and doing so will, with near certainty, result in you being blocked from editing by an administrator, very likely indefinitely. I strongly suggest that you either clarify what you meant in that edit or strike and retract it.

Further, Wikipedia is a collaborative editing project and, except in the case of an imposed interaction ban you may not tell another editor "Don't touch my edits" as you did there. If you have an issue with another editor's behavior you may bring the issue up at the Administrators/Incidents noticeboard. If you have issues with the content editing of an editor you may take it to the Dispute resolution noticeboard or one of the policy boards such as: Neutral POV board, Reliable sources board, Original research board, or the board for issues relating to living people.

Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me or to ask a question at the WP:TEAHOUSE where there are experienced editors who specialize in answering questions from new users. Jbh Talk 02:21, 28 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. ᛗᛁᛟᛚᚾᛁᚱPants Tell me all about it. 03:56, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
