In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. Of course that site doesn't belong to Nick, it doesn't belong to any network. From where do you think TV schedules sites get their information? From the television Networks themselves. Background: I was blocked for an edit war in article List of Winx Club Episodes, users Malibu1236 and LinnFan432 where removing the future episodes content, saying it wasn't official although the information was taken from TV schedules. I was blocked even though after I got the warning I stopped reverting the changes at the article involved and I even explained an administrator(I think) the situation. I mean why warning me if I'm still getting blocked? And just to clarify not all those IP addresses involved are mine. In my opinion it was vandalism from Malibu1236 and LinnFan432(I believe they're the same person). As you can clearly see in the edit history I was asking the user proof all the sites used as sources were unreliable but I never got answer from him/her, the only answer I got was: "they are not official", logic behind this being they don't belong to Nick or Rainbow but as far as I know information about future episodes can be taken from TV schedules. I may not have used the talk page but I tried settling the problem down. Just for reference, the sites used as sources are:

Yes, I used different IPs, but I did that unknowingly I don't always remember to log in. I never tried making it look like I was different users, I mean I'm not even trying to deny the fact I'm most of the IP addresses that were involved. Looking at Bbb23's comment I think this part is unfair: "abusing multiple accounts". The only account I use is this one and I repeat, if I used different IPs is because I'm not always in the same place and I don't always remember to log in. He doesn't need to geolocate the IPs to know it was me, I'm accepting it cause it was never my intention to "abuse multiple accounts", that was unintentional and from now on I'll always make sure I'm logged in before editing.Javier12345 (talk) 22:02, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And continuing with my own comment "The edit war is because of you, it's you against various users.", if you check older edits you'll see I was not the only one adding that content, other users like Plong26, Eli Orni and Kathovo were also adding some of the content that was being removed. I also have to disagree with this part from Bbb23's comment "although it's not like he didn't know what he was doing", I never knew there could be a problem if I used different IP addresses (meaning editing from different locations without logging in), I'm not an expert at rules involving IP usage. m.o.p. asked me to come talk to you. I have two questions/concerns:

I can understand forgetting to log in, but when you edit an article as an IP, you are warned that you are doing so. At that point, you could stop and log in. Why didn't you?
You stopped after the warning, but you knew you were edit warring before the warning. As I'm sure you noticed when you looked at my talk page, your last revert clearly indicated that you knew what you were doing. Do you think it's okay to edit war simply because no one has warned you? Warnings are intended generally to alert the unknowing editor, not one who already knows. Sometimes, for example, editors get carried away and forget how many reverts they've made. That wasn't the case with you.

And to answer the second point I meant I knowingly undid the edits not that I knowingly wanted an edit war. I mean I didn't even knew there were rules about edit wars I thought it was a user made term. Referencing what you say, I did got carried away as the user wasn't even reasoning to what I was saying to him/her. In summary I never meant my intention was to have an edit war, with knowingly I meant undoing the edits because the other user wasn't reasoning. Being sincere I was waiting for an administrator to come and decide something about the content being removed and it's not like I can't wait 72 hours but I really think it's unfair I was blocked after I was trying to reason with the other user to stop the edit war.Javier12345 (talk) 22:30, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
