Walt Whitman[edit]

Jason, I went in and added some of the wording you suggested on Whitman's journalism career on his article. After reconsidering, I realized that his journalism career was really short-changed and the biography had a significant blank period left unaccounted for. I'm not sure it's worth expanding any further (the article should really get right to the "good stuff") but I think your suggestion helped. My adding it rather than you will avoid the conflict of interest policy. One question, though: do you have an ISBN we could add to the reference? Feel free to respond here, on my talk page or on Whitman's talk page. Thanks for your help! --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:24, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Book[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to say that I picked up a copy of your book on Whitman. I haven't read beyond a few pages, but it's definitely invigorating to look at Whitman's journalism as an important part of his early career (rather than just a sidenote). All the best. --Midnightdreary (talk) 22:30, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
