FOX reporters were shot at by Georgians[edit]

This is off topic, but do you have a source for this? British, Czech, Norwegian, Turkish, Canadian, Danish, Russian and Dutch journalists have all been either killed, shot at, carjacked, or robbed by Russians or Russian militias, but not a single report of Georgians harming or attempting to harm Georgians. This would be an interesting first, hence my request for a source. By the way, strikeout like ~~this~~.Bdell555 (talk) 00:31, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ain't off topic to me (and I found my HTML book, never needed to strikeout before). I saw the FOX reporter (I don't know his name) and his cameraman running for their lives to a SUV were the reporter looked terrified laying on his back for protection. I know he said it was Georgians (not soldiers). He said something like the Georgians were frustrated and humiliated and were taking it out on reporters or whomever they could. The reporter said he had to run by a "fat guy". I'm sure its on FOXNews.com, probably even the video I saw. They wouldn't won't to "hide" that type of high energy footage. No problem. The total lack of NPOV sources is precisely why I nommed for AfD. I'm actually rather surprised that not a single convincing argument has been made for keeping the article...it is all claims of Fox's freedom of speech suppression and similar nonsense. FOX Censorship[edit]

I applaud your attempts to find a NPOV source, but you aren't going to be able to find one. Fox didn't censor that girl, but they bowed to the realities of scheduled commercials. This is an attempt to turn something commonplace into something sinister for political reasons. Hi Jason3777! Why are you using the talk page of Disinformation_campaign_during_the_2008_South_Ossetian_war to ask questions about problems with your computer? Are you implying that you suspect there to be a connection between your computer's problems and that page? I think I dare to assure you that there is no such connection. However, if you really have good reason to belive that a Wikipeida page could cause problems like yours, you should immediatly alert Wikipedia systems administrators. I do not believe that a Wikipedia page caused the virus. But I do believe that someone placed it on my system due to my editing of Russian-Georgian War articles. I have corrected the problem by doing a system restore to a previous date before I begin having this problem. It was a sophisticated attack which slowed my system down a hell of a lot. This was the first time I have ever experienced such a problem (i.e. a virus) and my computer experience goes back 25 years. So much for correlation and not causation due to the date of the system restore. As Wiki says, if you show your IP address instead of your User name, it could put you computer security at risk. "August 17 Through September" - Paragraph I deleted was restored[edit]

Hi, I'll try to find the video showed on Russian TV. I think the Fox News video itself it the source. Let's remove words "cut off" and "cut short" with something like "the anchor had to interrupt to go for a commertial break". I think that's what the anchor says himself in the video. So my main point is the video is the source. Source of what? This we can discuss. Hi, thanks for coming back to me on this and for letting me know how you created the subpages. I had forgotten about the "leave comments here" part of process, which meant that my comments above weren't the most helpful. Sorry about that.

The intention of those comments pages is in relation to their rating. Rating refers to an article's status with the top being Featured Article. The comments are about what's needed to move an article from say C to B. Because the comments you had made were already on the main Talk pages they didn't need to be repeated on the subpages and as they were the only comments I listed them for deletion under the speedy criteria.
