Your image[edit]

File:Karen Mok at an official event 2005.jpg has no source or copyright information, so I don't know where it came from. If it's not a free-use image (such as an image you took yourself, or one available under a free license), it can't be on Wikipedia. Can you please specify where this image came from? rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 20:01, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:KarenMok HKfestival2009.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:KarenMok HKfestival2009.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:54, 10 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

You have already uploaded one picture (the above section) that was a copyright violation, so unfortunately I cannot assume good faith here until you prove the image's source and licensing information. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 22:54, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Karen Mok 2011.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Karen Mok 2011.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fut.Perf. 17:35, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Karen Mok, 2011.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Karen Mok, 2011.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:05, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CT[edit]

It seems like Yobol has undone your CT edit. He doesn't understand what due weight is. I have undone his undoing, but he is persistent. He have deleted my edits too. See the talk page. --Nenpog (talk) 14:07, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I guess it is ok if he watches the quality but I really cannot see his point here. Will discuss with him. Do you have any additional backup for mentioning these books? jaeljojo (talk) 21:22, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can try to add the following line (press edit here and copy the raw text):

The field of the mathematical methods of computerized tomography has seen a very active development since then, as is evident from overview literature.[1][2]

I think that this would calm the concerns regarding promotion of the book. In the edit summary write WP:BRD

I hope this helps. --Nenpog (talk) 10:34, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No it would not, it would be edit warring to insert the above content. Do not encourage other editors to edit war when they can get blocked for doing so. IRWolfie- (talk) 13:01, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Help me: who decides on whether this is relevant information? I think I know the subject and I think it is very relevant and I believe anyone involved in the technicalities would (and especially if the article mentions Radon transform and the like). No interest to start a war, but some guidance would be helpful. Jaeljojo (talk) 13:09, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Jaeljojo. You have new messages at IRWolfie-'s talk page.

I think what matters in the end is how the discussion look at the talk page, how many support vs. object to the edit, the rules seems to be secondary to that, but hey I am new to Wikipedia, so it is possible that I got it wrong. Anyway it wouldn't hurt to talk at the article's talk page and support your edit, maybe it would help. --Nenpog (talk) 13:26, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Vote counts are (mostly) irrelevant, see WP:CONSENSUS. IRWolfie- (talk) 13:29, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Natterer[edit]

I saw you intend to write an article about Natterer. FYI you will need to prove notability, read WP:NOTABILITY. You also might be accused of a conflict of interest, if someone suspect and would be able to prove that you are related to Natterer read WP:COI. Failure of either (perhaps more requirements exist) may result in the Natterer article not being accepted and deleted.

About the CT article, I think that my edit (in the talk page) of your contribution has a fair chance of being accepted, and perhaps yours too if you would find a secondary source supporting that Natterer is a leader in his field, but I am not sure. --Nenpog (talk) 14:51, 7 July 2012 (UTC) I see you found a secondary source. --Nenpog (talk) 15:02, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for September 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Karen Mok, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Weibo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

File permission problem with File:Karen Mok (莫文蔚) at the TV show "The Singing Battle (天籁之战)" on 31 Oct 2016.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Karen Mok (莫文蔚) at the TV show "The Singing Battle (天籁之战)" on 31 Oct 2016.jpg, which you've attributed to Christo Jan. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:47, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
