I WANT TO REMOVE A INFORMATION (BIOGRAPHY) OF OLAV KALLENBERG ON YOUR ENCYCLOPEDIA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT WAS LISTED WITHOUT OUR PERMITION. THANKS, JINSOO

Dear Jinsoo, what do you mean by "without our permission" ? If the content of the Olav Kallenberg has been copied from a copyrighted source, this is indeed not tolerated on Wikipedia, and I will be happy to remove the offending content if you provide me with the source of the original material. You can also remove the content yourself, but please note that simply blanking the article without explanation, as you did, is considered to be vandalism and is not accepted. Best wishes, Schutz 00:31, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mr. Schutz,

I understand what you are saying about vandalism and copyright. But I and my husband, Olav Kallenberg simply don't want to see any biography of himself on any web-site, especially when it contains false and damaging information about us. First of all, Olav Kallenberg's personal information on your encyclopedia is not coming from any copy-righted souces. Nobody ever gave any permission to publish any such infomation, half of which is false anyway! We believe that the person who wrote the article is Mr. Kurt Borgne (I may have mispelled the name), but we don't know his address. He was a classmate of my husband in Sweden, more than 40 years ago, and we don't understand why he wants to hurt our reputation. Please, please help us to get this material removed from your website as soon as possible.

With best regards, Olav and Jinsoo Kallenberg

We do not accept false and/or damaging information on Wikipedia, and you are welcome to delete such material yourself, or I'd be happy to help if you have any trouble doing so. More generally, if you believe that the article on Olav Kallenberg does not satisfy our criteria for inclusion in the encyclopedia (see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons and Wikipedia:Notability (people) for some more details), you can ask for its deletion (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion); however, provided that its content is correct and non-defamatory, I believe that the consensus would be to keep this article. The last modifications that you made to the article look good to me, and actually improve the article (unlike a blanking), although I would suggest keeping the (corrected, if needed) year of birth. As an aside, I would also suggest that you fill in the Edit summary box when you make an edit (indicating e.g. that you are removing false or libellous information, so that subsequent reviewers (myself included) have a better idea of what is happening. You should probably continue this discussion on the article's talk page, so that other editor looking at this article can easily find out that there were problems in the article. I can unfortunately not help you at all concerning the identity and the motivations of the original author of the article. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any help otherwise. Proposed Deletion[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Olav Kallenberg, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Olav Kallenberg. You may remove the {{dated prod}} template, and the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~Kylu (u|t) 03:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the article and removed the "multiple issues" banner. Please alert me of any errors and especially of future vandalism or re-addition of inappropriate content. (I am sorry that inappropriate content had been added previously.) Thank you/Mvh, Kiefer.Wolfowitz (talk) 20:07, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
