Kothandan aka S R Kothandan is an Indian film actor who has predominantly appeared in comedy roles in Tamil cinema and Televisions. He made his breakthrough with STAR Vijay's Kalakka Povathu Yaaru? (season 5)[1] [2] [3]through his hilarious performance and body language.His first movie released “Enaku Vaitha Adimaigal” as his debut in 2017, Succeeding by “Saravanan Irukka Bayamaen”[4] [5] starred with Udhayanidhi Stalin, Regina Cassandra directed by Ezhil, A Movie “Pandigai” starred with Actor Krishna. He is also known for his Performance in a various shows and events in abroad like Singapore , Malaysia, Saudi, Sri Lanka and most of the overseas countries[6]

Kothandan started his media journey as a stage drama artist ,directed and acted his first Stage Play “Cinema Aasai” in Swamy Sankardas Kalai Arangam, a old Nadigar Sangam Office ,as chief guest UthiriPookal Director J. Mahendran Witnessed his Performance, Succeeding a video Film named “Manbumigu Manavan”. In television he made his debut in Kalaipuli Dhanu’s Pudhu Mugam Arimugam and College Kalakkal” both in Raj Tv, succeeded by Ellame siripu thaan in Kalaignar Tv ,Imsai Arasargal in Polimer Tv,Dougle.com [7]in Pepper Tv,Various Shows in Imayam Tv.
