Sorry, WP:LINKSTOAVOID discourages linking to a site "that does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article would contain if it became a featured article" - external links shouldn't repeat what the article already says. Although you might do a better job than Wikipedia at keeping a list of social media applications up to date, the article does contain such a list and in a perfect world it would be kept up to date. If you want to help the Wikipedia project, you should help keep its article up to date! --McGeddon (talk) 18:25, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
