The article New NZ Party has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This subject does not appear to be notable; there is no substantial independent coverage.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A small request[edit]

I request you to please change the color of the template Template:Cook Islands Party. The heading as well as group names are not at all visible. Atleast, please change the color of the texts heading and groups. I think this will violate MOS:COLOR (not sure). Adithyak1997 (talk) 12:10, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't do that, but I've tried changing it to a lighter shade of green on their logo. You can edit it directly at Template:Cook Islands Party/meta/color --IdiotSavant (talk) 12:31, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Frank Lui, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Wellington High School (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The article Official Information Act 1982 you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Official Information Act 1982 for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Information icon Hi IdiotSavant! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Michel Tuffery that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. addition of non-superficial changes marked as minor Graywalls (talk) 08:48, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Samoan politicians[edit]

Hello. Thanks for all your work on creating Samoan politicians' bios. I was just thinking – when you fix the links on the various Lists of members of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa (like this), rather than piping the existing links to a different name, would it not be better to just fix the link and display it as the article title is? (except in cases where people's titles change – I've never come across a country so complicated in trying to follow politicians' careers...). Cheers, Number 57 13:07, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Polynesia?[edit]

Hi - is there any closer WikiProject for documenting tiki culture? I know it isn't truly Polynesian culture, but it's a best-fit scenario, no? ɱ (talk) 21:50, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The tiki culture article is under that WikiProject, so are we going to remove that as well? ɱ (talk) 21:51, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Its not a best fit, which is why I've been gradually culling them out. WikiProject Polynesia is about Polynesia and Polynesian culture, not parodies of it. I'd suggest Wikipedia:WikiProject United States, where it originated.--IdiotSavant (talk) 00:28, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Having poked around: bars, cocktails, mixology and so on are in-scope for Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink. It used to have a specific bartending task force, but that's now defunct.--IdiotSavant (talk) 00:39, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, I added it to WikiProject Food and drink shortly after you raised this issue. ɱ (talk) 00:40, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
