Sockpuppets[edit]

Hi, LightandDark2000, What is a Sockpuppet?, Just curious. Hurricane Luis (talk) 19:28, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, A reply would be nice. Just looked up what a "sockpuppet" is and was surprised, Oh and I do not have lots of accounts I use I just have this one im using. I hope that clears that up for you. Hurricane Luis (talk) 15:28, 31 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia's sockpuppetry page for more info. If you don't have socks, then why are your edits/behavior so similar? PS, I was very busy with schoolwork (in fact, I still am), so I wasn't able to get back until now. (Please post your replies below.) LightandDark2000 (talk) 08:13, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you really don't have socks, you should defend yourself on the SPI Investigations page, under the section "Comments by other users." Hopefully it isn't you, but as usual, I can't be sure. LightandDark2000 (talk) 08:15, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and here's the link to the SPI Investigation currently under your name. I've made it clear that you may not be behind that mess, but we need a checkuser in order to see if you're being honest with us. Again, I hope that you are, but it would definitely help if you defended yourself as I recommended above. LightandDark2000 (talk) 08:38, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, LightandDark2000 for giving me a helping had and I apologise, I did not know you where so busy. I have also defended myself, as you advised and here it is. Hope the problem will be cleared up. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Hurricane_Luis#Comments_by_other_users Hurricane Luis (talk) 16:13, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Same here. I sure hope that you get cleared. LightandDark2000 (talk) 02:04, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The SPI Investigation has proved you innocent of any sockpuppetry-related activites. For any other users reading this, Hurricane Luis has been confirmed by a Checkuser to be unrelated to any IP Address or user account listed in the investigations page. User Sandboxes[edit]

I noticed that you were working on a sandbox. I decided to help you move the page to the correct title. In the future, if you create any more sandboxes, always start the title with your username and a / mark. For example, you would start your sandboxes with: User:Hurricane Luis/ .... I hope this helps. :) LightandDark2000 (talk) 06:53, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, LightandDark2000. Hurricane Luis (talk) 15:49, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. You created User:2013-2014 North Atlantic European Windstorm Season, fully aware that it was essentially the same page, with a different name, as one which had been previously been deleted as a result of a deletion discussion. That in itself would not have led to a block, but it follows your other disruptive editing, including your previous repeated re-creations of the page, your repeated attempts to disrupt the deletion discussion process, your history of making deliberately misleading statements in connection with your disruptive editing, and your changing of the title of the re-created page, apparently in an attempt to escape detection. It is clear that you have no intention of cooperating or complying with Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia is not a free web host for you to store content for your own use. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:40, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
