Russian information war against Ukraine

I have been letting people do what they want in the section about the Russian Wikipedia, since the information war topic is broad and nobody else seems interested in the rest of it, so there is plenty of more urgent work to be done. (Ifyou can read Russian or Ukrainian especially, I could use help btw).

I am touching base with you because somebody just replaced one of the references in the Russian Wikipedia section with a reference in English, I believe on your text, and you may want to make sure that this isn’t a POV shift. I have asked that editor to discuss next time, as I personally don’t consider a reference better somehow simply because it’s in English, and this article in particular is about differences in narratives and frequently the references are examples. I would prefer, as a rule of thumb, that English language sources be in addition to, not instead of. That said, I have not looked into this incident or these sources. Thanks.
