Please familiarize yourself with WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT. We list destinations. If they're future, we put a start date. When that day arrives, we remove it. Ref can stay if easily verifiable, or it can be kept if easily challenged. This is Wikiproject standard and this type of edit has been done over hundreds of airports for many years. Air Pegasus flights

Dear HkCaGu, Thanks for your recent edits on Air Pegasus destinations list of several airports. I also initially cleaned them up except Bangalore (which is a non-stop flight) then I checked in their website, often two cities (eg. Hubli and Chennai) are served by a direct flight (same flight no. and same aircraft) with a stop-over in Bangalore. PSA Airline service to DAB

Can you explain why the US Airways Express service cannot include "operated by PSA Airlines"? PSA Airlines has a separate operating certificate, but its flights are branded as both US Airways Express and American Eagle.

I added NOAA's Irvine Ranch climate data as a secondary climate data to University Community Park's climate data because the source is accurate. Irvine Ranch is alittle far out from Irvine. DL HKG-NRT

American Airlines announced that it will begin service to Merida on March 3, 2016 as per http://hub.aa.com/en/nr/american-airlines-customers-gain-more-access-to-mexico-with-new-service-to-merida and was added to the page but marked "begins March 3, 2016" like any future destinations but a user continues to remove it. DL DTW-MUC; MSP-FCO

It looks like DTW-MUC has been loaded into the booking engine but no official announcement yet. I have tagged it as citation needed until it is announced. DL and Airline Route will announce it eventually but other users continue to give a forum post as a source but it is not a reliable source. Also, MSP-FCO is bookable as well on Delta. O'Hare International Airport

A footnote was added by Singapore saying that United's flight from ORD to SIN makes a stop in HKG and the airline has to rights to fly passengers from HKG to SIN and that there is no direct flight from ORD to SIN. MCO

Please stop changing Orlando to Orlando-International on the Pittsburgh International Airport's page. MCO has always been listed as Orlando on wiki. Just look around at every airport. No other airport in the country has "International" listed with the city's name. It's like putting international after Columbus OH, for example. This city has two airports. There's no need to add additional text that's not necessary. Also, Pittsburgh has two airports, one close to Pittsburgh, one in Latrobe PA. Pittsburgh International is listed as "Pittsburgh" and Latrobe is listed as "Pittsburgh-Latrobe". It's different when the airport is named differently such as John F. Kennedy International Airport and La Guardia Airport. I hope this helps to understand why Orlando International Airport should be listed by the city's name: Orlando. *AirportUpdater* (talk) 23:57, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

Trusting WP:Airports

Hi HkCaGu. I know we've been talking back and forth about the MCO issue for a while now and I know you are relying on what WP:Airports says about this issue. I've checked the page out and the question asked by CityDude1017. The person that responded to this question I would not trust. I've checked their record and it's not good. They've gotten blocked for bad editing before. I've left a message on the page about how I feel on this issue. I really hope you can finally understand and stop deleting my edits regarding MCO. Almost all the airports in this country have "Orlando" for MCO. Also, I wouldn't regard WP:Airports for Charters either. Charter sections are good to have so people can easily see what routes are regularly scheduled and what aren't. Many airports around the country (and world) have this section as well. Regarding Air China at Jose Marti International Airport

Air China is starting flights to Havana on December 28, 2015 but the flight will be an extension of existing service between Montreal and Beijing. However, PEK-HAV is not bookable in CA booking engine (but the YUL-HAV sector is bookable). Will Air China only transport passengers from Havana and Montreal? Can you take a look? 33aircharter speaking, I didn't wanted to write the article on the Havana page but I was force to, that why I continue to say its a mistake to use both begins on dec 28th, That's why I use one airport with a note added at the bottom of the page, since Air China is not a Montrèal hub the airline will fly from PEK to YUL pick up and drop off passengers then continue completion in Havana. passengers can book from PEK to YUL & YUL-PEK but the ones who book PEK-HAV have to remain on the plane, passengers cannot book flights from YUL-HAV nor from HAV-YUL so therefore passengers travelling to PEK from HAV will remain on the plane when arrive at YUL. hope you understand. thanks. —Preceding undated comment added 13:10, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

We already pass that stage about "via" already. I have just call the airline itself and the typing above is being confirm, however when you check for a flight between HAV-YUL and YUL-HAV a price will show up in the system but the airline does not have the right to transport passengers solely between HAV-YUL/YUL-HAV. I tried it with another airline the Gol flight GRU-BGI-TAB/TAB-BGI-GRU(Brazil-Barbados-Tobago). I checked GOL airline site and a price showed up between BGI-TAB then I call the airline and I was told I cannot book between TAB-BGI nor BGI-TAB. Lets come to the agreement call for yourself.

Orlando

Regarding China Eastern service at O'Hare

Can you take a look? China Eastern will begin service to ORD on March 18, 2016 according to http://airlineroute.net/2015/11/11/mu-ord-mar16/ (which provide a schedule and it states that the airline opened reservations for this route). However, it keeps getting removed stating that this is only a planned service and the route has not received government approval yet. Should we wait until flights go on sale or should we keep it? The Martian

Regarding The Martian (film), what matters is that reliable sources have reported on the casting practice being an issue for some. The "See also" section is for tangentially related topics, and the two inline citations attached to the link refer to The Martian as part of a larger trend. In addition, the author has said the following, "You don't have the face on-screen or voice being heard to remind the audience who's who. They need to know it immediately from the name... You’ll find I pulled the same trick with the NASA characters: Teddy (white guy who is in charge), Mitch (white guy who isn't in charge), Venkat (Indian), Annie (white woman), Mindy Park (Korean woman), Rich Purnell (African American)." The author has only said it is okay for the whitewashing to happen because the names can be flexible enough, but this does not take away from the original intent of the character being Korean. Edits to Calgary International Airport

Hi there,

I was trying to edit the Calgary International Airport wikipedia page because there were a couple of grammar and punctuation mistakes. I did not know that I was violating page rules when I was editing the page. Would I be able to have access again in order for me to correct them?

Also, I would like to mention that Atlas Air is not a commercial airline that lands at the Calgary International Airport. It is a Cargo Airline. Would you be able to remove it from the Airlines and Destinations segment and leave it at the Cargo Airlines section?

My apologies for any rule violations I may have caused. If you can reinstate my edits and/or allow me to have access to the edits page, that would be much appreciated.

Regarding Great Lakes Airlines hubs

Their has been dispute on Great Lakes Airlines. The route map states that Great Lakes Airlines has 4 hubs (LAX, MSP, DEN, and PHX) but a user continue to state that DEN is the only hub for the airline (as the other 3 airports only has flights to one or two cities). Hey -- hope you've been well! It's been a while since I've consistently frequented the WP:AIRPORT editing 'arena'...gone are the days where it was me, you, and Snoozlepet on a regular basis. Anyhow -- keep an eye on CVG's page. Someone thought it was a good idea to add 'former' destinations to the article, based on a non-conclusive WP:AIRPOTS discussion full of IP's and new editors. I think there was enough of a consensus to let it stay because of the nature of specific airports (significantly shrunk former hub) such as CVG. Only listing current destinations would not provide a complete illustration of the airport. Another limiting justification is the degree of research conducted and the non-fluidity of past history. My issue with CVG, specifically, is that it is such an unreasonable amount of space taken up by the 'Former Destinations' section. I think a better way to discuss the downgrade at CVG is with listing passenger numbers and the amount of flight's it used to have -- rather than a list of every non-stop flight CVG ever had. United Airlines charter service from O'Hare to Havana

Can you take a look at O'Hare International Airport page. Someone continues to add Havana as a charter destination for United Airlines. I have removed it since there was no source provided and I couldn't find a source saying so but it keeps getting reverted. I have requested protection of the article, warn the IP who undid my edit, and took to the talk page. I don't know if United operates any charter service to Cuba (UA operates a charter flight from Miami to Havana but I don't know if that exists). I know United was planning on serving regular flights to Cuba sometime in 2016 but it is from IAH or EWR not ORD. 97.85.113.113 (talk) 06:29, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
