I think the way he subtly puts it in in all his works is brilliant. It's truly a part of the Maiden cover art and it's absence is surely felt now. The insignia was a kind of a visual logo for the band, complementing Eddie and the IRON MAIDEN font. The history behind the insignia is pretty cool, too ; it's quite symbolic, though I've forgotten most of what it's supposed to signify.. anyone care to enlighten me ?
