How exactly does someone with less than a dozen edits have a strong enough opinion on ArbCom to comment at the RfC? I'm not saying you're not allowed to comment, but I find it highly suspicious that your fifth edit was to that page. Sven Manguard Wha? 13:21, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom Edit[edit]

Hello Sven.

I clicked on 'My watchlist' and a request for comment was the first thing I saw. I'm not really sure what you meant that my comment "Well said." (No. 16 for the statement by HJ Mitchell) was a "strong enough opinion". It's not even an opinion, you see. I'm just agreeing to HJ Mitchell's opinion which I think makes sense.

Perhaps a user like me who only has 4 edits should not receive a notice on such things?

Kind regards,

P.S.

I've posted a similar post in your page.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I appreciate (and assume, since you did it right!) that you read up on our guidelines on neutrality and using sources to back up your article, but after some checks and deliberation, I have nominated your article for deletion. To me, the subject doesn't appear to be notable by Wikipedia's standards, as it hasn't received significant coverage from what Wikipedia considers to be reliable sources. (To maintain the quality of Wikipedia, our standards on what sources can be used can sometimes seem quite strict, especially when it deals with Internet sites.)

If you disagree, you are invited to express your view at the deletion discussion. It'd be great if you can show that the subject is notable by finding more in-depth coverage from reliable sources and adding them to the article. Thanks! wctaiwan (talk) 09:59, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Take it easy[edit]

I noticed your second reply to the deletion discussion. This is just a friendly note (with a free virtual cheeseburger!) to say that really, deletion isn't a big deal, no one has a vested interest to see your work deleted (only a common desire to do what it takes to improve the encyclopedia), and there is no need to panic. :)

If other editors agree with your reasoning, your article would be kept. Even if the article is deleted, you can always make a new article if the software becomes more notable in the future (at that time, you can also ask an admin to restore the deleted page).

Just take it easy and enjoy your time on Wikipedia. I hope you'd stick around. wctaiwan (talk) 07:21, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of 2-plan project management software for deletion[edit]
