Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Gurdwara Bal Lila Maini into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Please do not "move" articles by copy and pasting the content from one article to another. Please read WP:Moving a page for how to properly move an article to a new name. -- ferret (talk) 21:34, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kathu Nangal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.census2011 .co.in/data/village/33912-nihal-singhwala-punjab.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. But later on seeing your notice I checked India Goveronment census site where all information of site is shown copyrighted.I am observing Wikipedia policies normally shall definitely be more careful in future for such information.Guglani (talk) 04:20, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2019[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jammu Division; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 16:30, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Kautilya3 wikipedia users who contribute editing are all respectable so are you.!My edit of adding authentic ,distinct ,verifiable source of book by Vogel titled “History of Hill states of India volume 1” is in no way a disruptive edit. Neither adding additional distinct authentic verifiable source is against any policies of Wikipedia, if it is so please give reference of that policy.You manner of reverting my edit without any discussion and then accusing me for edit warring after doing reversion on my only one time undoing of ‘’’your uncalled for reversion ‘’’does not amount to edit warring. More so reason for my reversion is given in same manner I.e. summary of edit as given by you in your reversion.Moreover 2nd reference of volume 2 of same titled book source has a broken link and thus becomes unverifiable by mentioned link in article , please look into this if this reference is added by you.Guglani (talk) 07:55, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Respectable editors discuss it when their edits get reverted. Please follow WP:BRD. That is all we ask. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 08:54, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copying licensed material requires attribution[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Climate change and agriculture you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. It's also required under the terms of the license. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 15:21, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Children's Health Defense[edit]

This is about this material that I noticed and removed. Please note that Children's Health Defense is not a reliable source so cannot be used on Wikipedia (WP:RS). Thanks, —PaleoNeonate – 05:25, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

On the basis of Children's Health Defense this article on Wikipedia you cannot conclude the source is unreliable for all its findings and it has not been discussed anywhere in Wikipedia to be concluded as unreliable source for quoting in references. So please restore this important reference .Guglani (talk) 07:28, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Please see this source does not appear in list of discussed sources as per (WP:RS).[reply]
If you believe it should still be used, it's possible to open a new thread at WP:RSN while specifying what material it should support in what article so the community can assess. I suspect it'll be rejected though as this is an anti-vaccination advocacy website, founded by a conspiracy theorist... —PaleoNeonate – 20:13, 10 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
According to yourself you are doubtful about WP:RSN result on this issue. I am not so well versed with WP:RSN requirements. Why you yourself do not get it concluded through that. Till then you rerestore the editing done of deleting the source in article with your biased opinion.Guglani (talk) 04:07, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
