Blocked[edit]

Okay, I realize that the whole Stephen Colbert prank isn't as funny to you as it appeared to me at the time that I joined it, but I did not register solely to vandalize this page. I have been registered for a while, and have made contributions, and will continue to be positively contributing to Wikipedia, so I'd like to be unblocked. Okay, here's the thing. The Colbert incident caused us some serious difficulties. I will concede that the term "idiot" may be overly harsh; however, you should try to see it from our viewpoint.

Another thing about Wikipedia to bear in mind is that we try to be friendly. We don't always succeed, but we do try. If you're willing to apologize for your statement about fighting, etc, then I'll unblock you. DS 01:27, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
