Userboxes

Hey Greengreengreenred! I saw your new userbox page! By the way, I know how to tidy the userboxes up; look:

This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.

This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.
This space is for rent.

Add your four userboxes; take two line spaces; and then repeat! Also, you might like to split your userboxes in categories (eg. "Personal data", "WikiProjects", "Wikipedia and computing", etc.) (Hopefully this makes sense.) Cheers! CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 10:11, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! I appreciate this information! Greengreengreenred 10:17, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
You are welcome! :) CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 10:19, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
You can find many more userboxes at this page! Cheers! CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 23:08, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Welcome to the 2013 WikiCup

Hello, Greengreengreenred, and welcome to the 2013 WikiCup! Your submissions' page is here. The first round will last until the end of February, at which point the top 64 scorers will advance to the second round. We will be in touch at the end of every month, and signups are going to remain open until the end of January; if you know of anyone else who may like to take part, please let them know! A few reminders:

  • The rules can be found here. There have been a few changes from last year, which are listed on that page.
  • Anything you submit must have been nominated and promoted in 2013, and you need to have completed significant work upon it in 2013. (The articles you review at good article reviews does not need to have been nominated in 2013, but you do need to have started and completed the review in 2013.) We will be checking.
  • If you feel that another competitor is breaking the rules or abusing the competition in some way, please let a judge know. Please do not remove entries from the submissions' pages of others yourself.
  • Don't worry about calculating precisely how many points everything is worth. The bot will do that. The bot may occasionally get something wrong- let a judge know, or post on the WikiCup talk page if that happens.
  • Please try to be prompt in updating submissions' pages so that they can be double-checked.

Overall, however, don't worry, and have fun. It doesn't matter if you make the odd mistake; these things happen. Questions can be asked on the WikiCup talk page. Good luck! J Milburn and The ed17 12:55, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Editor Review

I am currently cleaning up the backlog over at Editor Review and I found this in the backlog. As it is no longer posted on the main page at Editor Review, I was wondering if I should remove it from the backlogs and put it to rest or if I should repost it for community review. I will remove it from the backlogs three days from now if I am not given a response.—cyberpower OfflineHappy 2013 22:22, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for this notice. That review had been created today and has yet to be looked at, so I would rather it not be deleted. I'd much appreciate it if you could either put it in the proper spot or inform me as to how to do so. I will be away from the computer for a few hours, so response will not be answered swiftly. Thanks again for the message, and happy 2013! Greengreengreenred 23:04, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Its up now. I didn't see it before.—cyberpower OfflineHappy 2013 23:12, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. Greengreengreenred 00:22, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kepler-47c, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cygnus (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:49, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

You're welcome! ;) CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 23:53, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
PS - If someone 'vandalises' your pages, I will probably revert it. Cheers — CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 04:28, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, but I'd prefer to deal with vandalism on one of my pages myself, as I may deal with it in different ways from how you would (mostly regarding my talk page). But I appreciate the offer! Greengreengreenred 04:30, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Upload file

Hey Greengreengreenred, again met. Did you know that you can also upload files on Wikipedia? I think the best way to upload a file is to click [1] ← here. Cheers! - CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 04:49, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

I am aware of this. The only thing hindering me from uploading files is the fact that my computer will not read my current SD card, but that may change if/when I get a new one. But thanks! Greengreengreenred 04:51, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

Userboxes (Ping!)

Hello (again met)! I know you have already got a lot of userboxes on your userbox-page, but you can find MANY more userboxes at this page! Cheers! - CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 11:00, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

I know; you already sent me this message. I have been through the Userbox gallery, and that's where I've gathered all of my userboxes. Greengreengreenred 16:06, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

Signature as title

Hey Greengreengreenred (AGAIN MET)! Hey, If you add this to the top of your user page:

{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="display:;">User:</span><font color="Green">Greengreengreen</span><font color="Red">red</font></font>}}

And if you add this to the top of your talk page:

{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="display:;">User talk:</span><font color="Green">Greengreengreen</span><font color="Red">red</font></font>}}

The title will have your signature! Cheers! (And, hopefully this makes sense.) CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 23:31, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

And by the way, I have accidently edited your user page, I apologise. I'm calming down. CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 00:19, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
I think I'm good, but thanks. And it's all good; no harm, no foul. Greengreengreenred 00:28, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! I've calmed down. And if you add those two things: Your title at the top "User talk:Greengreengreenred" will have "Greengreengreen" green and "red" red! Feel free to test it and add it! CURTAINTOAD! TALK! 02:13, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
