Rollback granted

Hi GrapefruitSculpin. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Alex ShihTalk 05:45, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Hammer/Goodman "Like Children"

Apparently you make it your mission to decide whether a contribution is "constructive" or not. I added a release date, a recording location and an associate producer credit for Ken Scott, and you deem neither of these things "constructive". Who exactly are you to reign supreme on this page ? How is the removal of my information more "constructive" than adding it ? Please explain. Thank you.

@109.20.205.166: I wouldn't call catching lapses in content policies "rein[ing] supreme." Constructive editing would constitute backing your edits with reliable sources. The burden of proof is on the editor making the changes. More info: WP:WHYCITE & WP:PROVEIT. If you'd like, I can help you cite references for what you'd like to add. - GS 10:18, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
Other than the release date, which is debatable (source is Billboard magazine), the information is simply what is stated on the album cover, and was overlooked by whoever created this page.
@109.20.205.166: I don't see your diffs: "with Ken Scott" or the recording location "Caribou Ranch, Nederland, CO" on the album cover. - GS 10:50, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Are you kidding me ? Did you seriously take what I wrote to mean that this info could be found on the FRONT cover ? Of course it's on the BACK cover, and also on the CD reissue which I have in front of me right now. A scan of the back cover, just about legible, is here : http://highfidelityla.com/covers/big/R-1663991-1398713410-9049.jpeg Really, I think you're taking your self-appointed Cerberus "mission" a bit too seriously. Rather than simply delete my additions, you should have added a request for sources.

@109.20.205.166: I'm not kidding you. An album cover is the front of the packaging of a commercially released audio recording product, or album. Consider getting some fresh air, you're getting worked up. - GS 11:07, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

Can u please suggest a page where this listing can be added We are operating in ponda for last 10 years from 2007 onward — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmane78 (talkcontribs) 10:48, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

Hey @Pmane78: Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Repeatedly injecting a classifieds page into the external links section of a city's article is a fairly clear example of external link spamming and the manner in which you've done it hints at a conflict of interest with your edits. I could be completely wrong and you're just passionate about online classifieds and not acting as a promoter, but there's good precedence to show that's not too common. Take a look at this page: Links to normally be avoided. There, you'll find guidelines on what the community deems acceptable for external links.
Unfortunately, after a little bit of searching, I don't think there's a fitting page on .en Wikipedia to place your links. Unless the website itself meets general notability guidelines (for example, Craigslist is notable), in which case you could create an article for it. Otherwise, per policy, Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links. - GS 23:30, 21 October 2017 (UTC)

A message for you GrapefruitSculpin from fixing the grammar and the info correctly

well, somebody told you things are very clear like source of news could be wrong, it depends what you think the information is make any sense of not. Do not even try to put where the new sources(news) come from that not confirmed right away. Think about this, like sedan cars dimension how big they are to input the class correctly. Also if a term of the word's color is red, presents the page is not confirmed, and it will have to be fixed to let the word change it back to blue. Another example is: I found Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 it has 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic, there has something wrong over the page. To be honest, you must not revert or undid the page without our permission until someone's found something wrong or make some new updates on it. So you have to read and think what is our opinion. Dude It's very important to let everyone in the world looks at the pages are correctly. Don't be like a bot, change yourself please thank you! We hope you understood what are we saying!

PeterJohnson12345678: Like I told you here, I'm offering to help (that was third time, if you're counting). Instead you've been hostile, calling other editors names, refactoring their comments and claiming ownership of articles. You've yet to show any effort to try and cite, or even mention a single reference and continue the same pattern of edit warring from your days as an IP editor. As other editors have stated, see WP:BRD for a primer on how consensus is achieved and make an effort to be a net positive to community, instead of producing cleanup work for everyone else. - GS 07:10, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

Acura CDX

Hey, I was actually know Acura CDX in China and the car is related with these cars. Also the chassis, everything is related. And I was a Chinese car guy knows about that car. Why you do something so stupid? ScrewsHirsch (talk) 16:57, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

P.S.: IF you need the real information about the Acura CDX, I send you a photo to your e-mail. Informations and number will not lie, OK? Don't do something stupid, OK? ScrewsHirsch (talk) 17:02, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Also, as a Chinese people. I am also keep on contact with Honda dealers and tuning companies and we know everything about Acura CDX. The production Acura CDX was actually using the same chassis with Honda Vezel. They are all related! Also, the engine was L15B9. In other country the engine code was L15B7. And then the horsepower was 182 PS. The label on the door saids the horsepower was 134 kW (182 PS). So please STOP that and don't do that stupid thing! ScrewsHirsch (talk) 17:14, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Give me your e-mail address and I send photos to you. ScrewsHirsch (talk) 17:30, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

@ScrewsHirsch: I'm going to chalk this up to cultural differences, but calling another editor "stupid" isn't very civil where I'm from. Or for that matter, the rest of the anglosphere.
Anyhow, I can't tell if you're the same person, or part of the same group, but I'll repeat myself for the umpteenth time: if you wish to make foundational, significant changes to an article, WP:POLICY requires you WP:PROVEIT with a WP:RELIABLESOURCE. This has been explained ad nauseam to the editors making the same changes as you have to automotive articles. Not just by me, but by much more established editors and admins, and has resulted in IP range blocks, page protections and threats of user blocking for this kind of behavior.
Since you've got the energy to serially make those edits and then berate me on my talk page, you can add the references, from a reliable source backing your edits yourself. If those edits don't meet Wikipedia's policy on verifiability they'll be removed. Direct quote from that policy: "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed."
Here's a primer on how to properly cite references (also known as sources) for your edits: WP:INLINECITE. Here's a quick read on why references are needed on Wikipedia and who is responsible for adding references: WP:WHYCITE and WP:PROVEIT. If you don't read any of that, at least read this: "The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution."
I contribute to Wikipedia on my free time because it's productive and a better brain exercise than binging on Netflix. Having to monitor my watchlist, which is filled with automotive articles because a handful of editors can't respect the community's terms, is becoming a waste of time. I won't be bending over backwards to appease you (all?) anymore. - GS 05:41, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Change of edit on 3 Percenters Page

Recently you sent me a message 'Hello, I'm GrapefruitSculpin. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to 3 Percenters seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GS ⋙ ☎ 01:24, 5 November 2017 (UTC)'

I find it interesting that when I originally went to the page it was listed as a Terrorist Group, which is clearly biased, but I doubt you changed that edit. Also according to the 3 Percenter website they define themselves as such '‘The Three Percenters’ is a national organization made up of patriotic citizens who love their country, their freedoms, and their liberty. We are committed to standing against and exposing corruption and injustice. We are NOT a militia.' [1]

You're change to 'American nationalist paramilitary group which pledges armed resistance against attempts on the restriction of private gun ownership.' seems biased and doesn't appear to adhere to the neutral point of view, even if cited from a published author, Spencer Sunshine. I only needed to spend about 5 minutes to see he is biased against conservatism and therefore citing him for your edit makes it not a neutral point of view.[2]

So being said, I have again edited the page to the following

The Three Percenters (also styled "3%ers" and “III%”) is according to their website described as '‘The Three Percenters’ is a national organization made up of patriotic citizens who love their country, their freedoms, and their liberty. We are committed to standing against and exposing corruption and injustice. We are NOT a militia.[1] A member of "3 Percenters ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:8063:A880:B8F0:556D:4E00:D08F (talk) 02:56, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

@2602:306:8063:A880:B8F0:556D:4E00:D08F: I left the same warning template on the talk page of the user who injected "terrorist organization" into the lead, as well as reverting that editor's work, so you can rest your doubts. I also adjusted the lead's prose so it accurately reflected the cited references, while observing WP:PARAPHRASE to respect the policy on WP:PLAGIARISM. It sounds like you're reaching for some sort of persecution angle.
You then go on speaking about maintaining WP:NPOV and re-inject WP:FLOWERY, loaded language into the article's first sentence, quoting directly from a primary source. Neutral point of view, right? Would using a direct quote from the marketing copy on Ray-Ban.com for the opening paragraph of Ray-Ban be acceptable? Would it be appropriate for a politician's WP page to have a direct quote describing themselves as "An American PATRIOT, who will create jobs and cut taxes. I WILL defend your liberty." in the first sentence of the article? That should sound pretty ridiculous to you, yet you went and did the same thing.
Also, just because a source has a patent bias, does not make it an unreliable source. An editorial by a WP:NOTABLE climate change skeptic can be referenced in climate change. Just as the work of an anti-nuclear organization can be referenced in nuclear power. A diversity of views and content from reliable sources are vital to maintaining neutrality on contentious articles. Here's a bit from Wikipedia's WP:POLICY on reliable sources: "[...] reliable sources are not required to be neutral, unbiased, or objective. Sometimes non-neutral sources are the best possible sources for supporting information about the different viewpoints held on a subject." - GS 04:27, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

I got some word to youse

I just wanna say 我叼你老母臭系 to U. Why? Acura CDX is a Chinese spec car, the news on tne network is not truly same with wikipedia. Also, it was manufactured in GuangQi Honda factory. We all know it. Also, a Honda Salesman he confirmed that the engine was same with the Honda Civic. Why don't you use Baidu? Also, GuangQi Honda also confirmed the horsepower was 182 PS and it was the Earth Dreams. Remember, you are not a Chinese. And you have no any idea to backward it. And you are not really really test drive and report this car before! Remember, your nonsense flooded the Honda Fans in China. They also said you are an idiot. 我唔知你从边度来?你呢条衰友你已经令到中国嘅本田粉丝激气。你逼我用中文骂你。 我今日就要响度闹死你! 你王八龟孙!我叼你老母臭嗨啊。

Removing correction to A Silent Voice summary

In response to

>Hello, I'm GrapefruitSculpin. I noticed that you made a change to an article, A Silent Voice (film), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.

The summary is wrong. I guess we will leave factually inaccurate information up for no reason. Why would a citation be necessary for a two word change in a section containing no citations? 168.7.230.155 (talk) 07:51, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

168.7.230.155: I'm using Huggle and it was flagged as a suspicious edit. Not enough merit on its own, but you changed "money she had to pay the school" to "money she had to pay to Shoko's family," which is a fairly significant difference. I'm no expert on the film, but if that's the case and it's supported by a reliable source, I apologize and won't contest a revert. If you don't know how let me know. Take care. - GS 07:59, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

Removing of edit make on Yes 933, Love 972 and Capital 958

Hi GrapefruitSculpin, I have been noticing u have cancelled some of the edits I make and it is the latest update as of November 2017. I think u have may place the wrong information and I do not know why there is a need to block me. It is really very tiring to update over and over again. Could u go and check first because what I write is all correct and I have been providing the correct sources as well. I am sorry but I really feel very innocent for this. I am just doing my part as a editer and there are certain history behind each Wikipedia page. Cheers, 202.166.73.171 Thank You! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.166.73.171 (talk) 08:43, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

I feel bad undoing your work, because I'm assuming you mean well, but additions to English Wikipedia require verifiable sources. See: WP:WHYCITE and WP:PROVEIT. You've been blocked before; a few days ago in fact; for doing the exact same thing. It's a burden on the community to patrol your changes and detrimental to the reliability of Wikipedia for correct, well-sourced information. Do you need help citing your sources? - GS 08:55, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

Reply: Yes I need your help to help me to put all the information back for me. Can you? Because I cannot afford to redo again. I am really very sorry about that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.166.73.171 (talk) 09:19, 24 November 2017 (UTC)

Changes of Acura CDX page

Hello. Well, I had known about the argument between you and a blocked user ScrewsHirsch. Well, the page of Acura CDX has changed a lot. I had found out there was a new picture about the engine. He had provided some reliable source as you said, and he had added the source about the chassis, the performance. He also added the link in the description. But it was all his fault and he shouldn't do anything to argue with you. Also, thanks to Drmies and Acroterion dealing with this thing. B4204T43 (talk) 21:08, 24 November 2017 (Hong Kong)

Changes of Acura MDX page

Hi, I don't think any citation is needed for this change. This is just enabling link to existing wiki info which also clearly states my claim (used in MDX second generation). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_J_engine#J37. If you take look for 3rd generation there are no such citation but link exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mileek (talkcontribs) 21:50, 29 November 2017 (UTC)

By the way @GrapeFruitSculpin, you just need to stop being so annoying and just stop reverting Wikipedia pages back to incorrect information, this is a violation of Wikipedia’s standards in terms of editing it’s pages and I will report you if you do not stop.
