Disambiguation link notification for January 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Awards[edit]

Hi - Thanks for your edits to the articles on Earl Haig, Lord Allenby and Viscount Montgomery. Sorry to be a pain but a huge amount of effort has gone into getting these articles to a high quality standard and then independently assessed. While it is quite acceptable to have medal ribbons in the awards section of main text we do not usually repeat them in the infobox. Also while we have no problem with including foreign awards in the infobox in theory, in practice it makes the infobox very unwieldly. Also the order of precedence is important: the British orders come first. Thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 20:34, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
