Fascinating reading, your contribs. Man, you do a lot of good work around here. I am most impressed with your GA/FA work, both writing and reviewing. Simply astounding. I'm also quite impressed with your meta-work. You act like an admin on en-wiki (so much so that I would presume that a marjority of editors probably assume you are one, as I did, and as Baloonman did). Your essays are spot on (the KMWeber essay specifically caused a complete switch in my own attitude towards anything quotingprima facie. I used to jab whenever and wherever possible, I've now defended Kurt on more than one occasion) Because of the community assumption that you are already an admin, I read with keen interest your past RfAs as well. After looking over the most recent, I'll state now that I would likely have supported it had I noticed it at the time. That being said, I can also clearly see why it failed. Interesting.
All that to say, I could co-coach. Reading your coaching page though, it looks very thoroughly set up by Balloonman, and very accurate as to what you need. Your contribs/history/time log/edit count vastly outnumber my own. I won't be much help to you there. Balloonman is addressing the "maturity" issues and "too many RfA issues in too short a time" that seem to have plagued prior RfAs in general. Other than offering a third opinion on homework assignments, throwing in an assignment or two of my own and therefore removing some of the workload from balloonman, what would you specifically like to see from me? You approached me after reading Tanthalas39's coaching page. What from there was positive to you that you would like me to do for you?
I'm also not an inclusionist. I'm by no means a deletionist either, far from it. I'm a citationist. A verifiability-ist. If that's a compatability problem to you, let me know now
Lastly, I'll let you know at this stage that I work exclusively, I mean exclusively, on-wiki. I don't even have email enabled, nor will I anytime soon. I won't say never to email, I just haven't been persuaded as to its usefulness yet, admin or not (except may I never lose my password - althouth it's a risk I'm willing to take :-) I don't do IRC, never will. I'm a firm believer in Wikipedia, and Wikipedia collaboration. I'm also a firm believer in transparency of actions, I consider it as important as our verifiabiity policy for articles. Anything that comes up in coaching, at least between you and I specifically, will be 100% on-wiki. If that presents itself as a problem to you, let me know now. I'm going over to your AC page. I've got three questions...Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 19:00, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

This almost sounds like the start of a nomination ;-)Balloonman (talk) 20:53, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
I think I'll copy/paste it. Didn't mean to sound so "filled with flattery". DHMO (who I believe is sound asleep atm), does great work. I asked him a couple of toughies on the coaching page, nonetheless... :-) Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 20:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Sleep is not an excuse... when his coaches say jump, he should say how high, not "zzzzzzzzzzz" ;-)Balloonman (talk) 21:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Of course, when he responds (finally!), I do assume that you and I both will be fast asleep. His Tuesday is our Monday. His Wednesday is our Tuesday...happy Wednesday Waterboy! Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 21:13, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

*wakes up* Oh...hi guys! Keeper, thanks for the comments, they mean a lot. What would I like from you? What you've done is what I had in mind. Nothing big, nothing major, but a second opinion is good (and someone who isn't an inclusionist is best). And yes, I plan to work onwiki - I've learned my lesson there! :) On my way there now. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:14, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

D'you mind if I chime in? Keilana|Parlez ici 23:23, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
If you would, I'd be delighted. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Good morning, water! (I'm about ready to go to bed myself...). Looking forward to your replies on the coaching page. And, hi there, Keilana. Looking forward to your input as well! Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 23:43, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Got some coffee? I'll have my replies done in a few minutes, I think...I'm just putting some finishing touches on them now. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:48, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the replies, H20, I read them and I'm personally impressed by them. In other words, you had me at hello. I'm more than happy to be a co-coach. Adding you to my subpage.... and, I'm going to bed soon. We'll hafta agree that the jetlag-ish timezone difference won't be too much hinderance. After all, what's the hurry? Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 23:57, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
You had me at "impressed"! Anyway, yeah, thanks for that. The questions were good. I'll try and keep on top of them...school is busy-er at the moment, so I'm not getting as much time to edit articles. :( But yeah, no hurry... dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:08, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
I also liked your answers, I'll try to think of some interesting questions. (Does this mean I can co-nom when the RfA comes...? :P) Keilana|Parlez ici 00:01, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh all right...! And I'll nom you on Commons next time around. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:08, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

<outdent> Yikes! Three noms? That's gonna make your opposers nervous...the key, at least IMO, is to make the opposers minimal and superficial. Hopefully, those that have opposed you previously will have good reason to either abstain from !voting at DHMO 3, or will be supporters. I'll do my best to be sure you pass RFA#5. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

You'll probably get opposed for quid pro quo again...<- lame joke. I've asked some questions (not my best, I'll try to think of better ones), would you mind answering? By the way, if you don't want a nom just say so, too many noms would be a bad thing in some eyes. Keilana|Parlez ici 00:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Don't be silly, Keilana. If it comes down to it, I'd much rather H2O had you and Balloonman as nominators. I'll personally withdraw if you think 3 is too many.. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:29, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Three's not too many, as long as they all are good (not support comments...) Keilana|Parlez ici 00:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Excellent. I said before, I woulda been a supportert at DHMO2, and I'm proud to help at DHMO3. All's well. Glad I'm helping Waterboy, one of our best editors, get a few trifly extra tools. :-) And now, finally, I'm going to bed. Until tomorrow.. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 00:51, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Do you know a way I can source MySpace. I am working on Stavesacre and there is some infoe that can only be sourced through a MySpace blog, but that is blacklisted?!? Instead of an inline source do you know if I could post a hard link? Burningclean [speak] 01:57, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

I suppose you could use webcitation.org...I dunno, I've never had this problem. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:37, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
MySpace is not RS, I strongly believe, and the fact that its a blog. --Efe (talk) 03:41, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
WP:SPS covers this, if I recall correctly. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
I found a different source. I was actually going to cite a quote but I found a different one. Would you mind reviewing Wikipedia:Peer review/United Abominations/archive2?
Thanks. What is "L3"? Burningclean [speak] 21:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, it's a heading ===like this=== (ie. the number (3) refers to the number of "=" in the header). dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:13, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I see, thanks. I added a few more reviews and replied. I don't feel very liked on wiki right now! You should check out the last message on my talk page and Talk:Lamb of God (band)#This is ridiculous. :D\=< Burningclean [speak] 23:30, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Huh? Most of the sources there are reliable (Sputnik a possible exception, the rest seemed fine at a glance) and there's nothing wrong with a musical style section...being poorly written doesn't make it vandalism. *Confused* dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:35, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Sputnik is also a blog and metal observer is a community of metalheads. It isn't the poorly written part that makes it vandalism, it is the fact that he is replacing it without a consensus. I am usually told to not use AMG all to much becuae it would kind of be just one POV. I'm confused myself. Burningclean [speak] 23:38, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
OK, so don't use those sources. I see you have a pretty good draft there on the talk page. I don't see why you can't put that in (and for the record, I've got nothing against frequent AMG use). It could be argued that you're vandalising by continually removing it...not saying you are, but yeah. Just chill and discuss on the talk page, it's looking pretty good IMO. :) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:45, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I have no problem with AMG either, but that is the only reliable source he is using. It is a nice draft, but there is overuse of unreliable stuff. I suppose you are right, it could be argued that I am. I'm wodering what was up with that vandal on my page. I am almost thinking it was him. I can't be sure though. Thanks for the help, advise, doughnuts. Burningclean [speak] 23:49, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
If you have time or feel up to it, could you copyedit the lead of Metallica discography? Burningclean [speak] 20:55, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Time? School holidays just started! :) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:52, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Cool, thanks. Are you going to get an FA on your break?!? Burningclean [speak] 17:33, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
I hope so. Diorama (album) is shaping up, should be at GAN soon. Hopefully User:Dihydrogen Monoxide/Taxiride discography will be in mainspace and at FLC in the not-too-distant future. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 00:01, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Estelle Blackburn article

Just to say I appreciated your advice. I've been preoccupied with other issues and forgot to get back to you. I'd be grateful if you could give me a pointer to a contemporary biography article which exemplifies what you've said. (I've left the work on Estelle Blackburn in abeyance for a few days to see what response Cygnis would make in the discussion we're having about inclusion of some material pertaining to a third party. Some of it's on the article's talk page and the most recent parts are on my talk page here, if you're interested.) Retarius | Talk 07:49, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Hmm...I can't really remember exactly what I said, but if I remember right, then most BLPs should replicate it. So just check any of the featured ones (WP:FA)...or the most recent one I wrote; Bernard Fanning. I noticed you mentioned AWNB; I think that'd be a good place to ask for more input, since I'm a little out of sorts at the moment. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for that. Hope your sorts are back in stock soon! Retarius | Talk 01:46, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Alright, I think I got everything. Best regards, SorryGuy  Talk  02:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

On my way there now. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:53, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the review. I was also wondering, though, considering you have experience in the area, how you think the article could be improved for a FAC run. And, unrelated to such, is No Cars Go the only song on the album that you have heard? If so, you really should considering tracking down the entire thing. I'll listen to a Powderfinger album in return. ;) SorryGuy  Talk  00:20, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I heard No Cars Go as part of the Triple J Hottest 100, 2007. Two Powderfinger songs on there! The people of Australia have spoken. ;) I'll leave some FAC comments on the talk page. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:02, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Peer review request

G'day mate! I opened a peer review for Ninja Gaiden (2004 video game), and would appreciate your feedback on the article and what can be done to improve it. Thank you. Jappalang (talk) 15:21, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

G'day. Watchlisted, will try to take a look at it today. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:02, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello there my friend. I just wanted to let you know that I just finished up on the Lucille Ball article and I moved it over for GA status review. I don't know if you have time, but if so, could you please review this article so that I can get it over to GAstatus? I would certainly appreciate it. Canyouhearmenow 19:45, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

At a glance, some of the references need better formatting, but it mostly looks good. I've been away from GA for a bit, but I'll try and do some more reviews when I get the energy! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 03:02, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I have gone through and fixed the references using cite web because they were in real bad shape, but they should look a lot better now. I appreciate your help and review. I am working on this one so we can move it over to Veropedia as well. Thanks... Canyouhearmenow 12:45, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
No worries. Good luck, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:13, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Stop

Stop making me rethink my support of Sharkface's RfA, dammit. That was a hell of a convincing oppose you did. Like you did, I compared his recent 500 or so edits to mine, and they really are a lot different. Sigh. I'll wait a bit and see if something miraculous comes up - "Oh, hey, I forgot to mention the 67 FAs I authored from infancy." Tan | 39 02:13, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Hehe. I don't think that comment's coming anytime soon. Your edits are much better than his IMO. But no blackmail there ;) Seriously though, it's up to you where you stand. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:16, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, well. Looks like people are starting to pile on the opposes, might be a moot point anyway. Tan | 39 02:17, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
That's true, yeah. Ultimately, it's what the candidate learns from the RfA that counts, so if I think I can help improve them by (changing to, or just plain) opposing, I'll do so. Now, back to fixing a template - cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 02:19, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

  • I've updated the file's rationale
  • Combined both subsections of "Production" into one, "Origins and recording"
  • Removed spaces between the en-dashes

  • Replaced unnecessary en-dash with comma
  • Replaced entire quotations of lyrics with selections
  • Replaced present tense with past tense in Critical reception section

Quick question

Would it be wise to move WP:AWC off my userspace (as it does contribute to the project like WP:BOUNTY)? I'm considering it after seeing the uproar over cabals. --Sharkface217 23:06, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

As noted in its MfD, I'd rather if it was deleted. That said, I don't think the namespace is in is a major concern - I wouldn't object to, or look favourably upon, it being moved - I don't really care either way. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 07:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

GA review

I know, I want to try it. I've read your article on it (plus all those, you know, official ones), so I think on paper I'm ready, but I'm kind of nervous about it. I think I should just go for it. • Okay, I think I've taken care of all the issues on the talk page. I'm still not 100% certain on the subheaders, though, and I can't find much information on the recording process for most of their albums. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 19:37, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Truthfully, this is the worst time for me to track down print sources. This is the busiest time of year for me at work; I really won't have a lot of free time to go to the library until the 29th. Wotcher matey - aren't you up late? Just deleted a sub-page of yours! Ploughing through the CAT:CSD backlog. Usual stuff. It's seems always backlogged around this time of day. Need some more admins around! You running again soon? Pedro :  Chat  10:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Nah, adding to your workload is more my style. User:Dihydrogen Monoxide/admin coaching, in answer to your question...not really a big deal, I have a stack of articles that need writing. 10 FAs, soon! dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 10:08, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Wow - mainspace stuff! I remember that :) (actually I did have a DYk the other day - that's about as good as it gets). Yeah Baloonman should be the main man for a bit of coaching. Cool. I only just hit 10k edits (noticed it the other day) but I've performed over 4k in admin actions now - I was allwys going to be better on the meta stuff and keeping the place clean. Still, come the end of August my time will be a bit more limited - certainly in the evening. Pedro :  Chat  10:13, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, we still have a mainspace! (says with tongue poked out) Congrats on DYK...I should get back to that at some stage. Until then, though, I've got FAs to right, and editcountitis above to snicker at ;) dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 10:15, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Ah you see, this is where it becomes different with admin tools. My 10k edit slipped by and I only noticed it later. But I spend every waking moment at WP:ADMINSTATS trying to crawl up the lists :). Actually I only discovered them because I'd spent a very, very bored day knocking off easy CSD deletions (templates and empty cats and the like) and wondered if there was a quick way to see how many I'd done. Then you're hooked :)! Seriously - I reviewed your coaching page. Good stuff there; I think I'm going to take some of that away with me to the guys I'm coaching at the moment, if you don't mind. Some good tasks and a nice structure to a lot of it. Pedro :  Chat  10:24, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

RE arbitration

I see what you're saying, and I do, of course, acknowledge that my stance on this will appear unnecessarily pompous to some. Believe me, I have no problem with Bishonen/zilla or with Bishzilla-speak, in most contexts; and I was also aware that the admin powers had been transferred to the User:Bishzilla account. However, in the context of requesting arbitration, I felt the tone was inappropriate.

Most things on Wikipedia need not be taken too seriously; after all, it's only a website, and I have never been an advocate of the "let's abolish everything fun" school of thought. But arbitration is serious, and desysopping is serious. In the end, Tango and MONGO are both human beings, and are both experienced Wikipedia contributors who've dedicated a lot of time and energy to this encyclopedia. And this ArbCom case relates directly to the reputation and integrity of both of them; in Tango's case, it could lead to his (temporary or permanent) desysopping. So I think it should be treated with the seriousness it merits.

I don't have any opinion whatsoever on the merits of the case, and I agree entirely that my concerns about Bishzilla's mode of expression are not the major issue for resolution here; accordingly, I don't plan to harp on about them. It was simply a statement of my reaction. WaltonOne 12:24, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Species of StarCraft GAN?

Its been recommended that I contact you regarding feasibility for Species of StarCraft at GAN. Someoneanother has exhibited potential concern that the upcoming SC2 may hinder its progress at GAN, although I haven't had any problems with Sarah Kerrigan or Characters of StarCraft when they went through the GAN process. David Fuchs has recommended that it could be worth holding off FAC on SC articles until after release though. I'm liable to submit this to GAN anyway, but would SC2 being in development affect the article's chances at GAN? --Sabre (talk) 21:07, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

It would depend on how much progress has been made on SC2. Bear in mind I know nothing about the StarCraft series, nor am I a fan of any of the games, so I may be a bit off in my knowledge of what's going on. But if there's enough info to be able to realistically discuss the species of the entire series, including SC2, then you should be able to go ahead for GA. I wouldn't go to FAC before SC2 comes out, simply because you can't be sure there won't be amazing new information released. In other words, yeah, I'd say you can go to GAN if there is already information about species in SC2 (and I don't know if there is). Hope this helps... dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:17, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thanks! At least it only affects the articles on fiction, the actual game articles themselves should be able to progress to FA: they are independent of what goes on in SC2's development. -- Sabre (talk) 10:08, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Yes, all non SC2 games should be fine in that regard. Good luck. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 07:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I do watch Rove. Looking forward to tonight's episode, actually. I redirected it because the article isn't really useful, it's just an unsourced list of sketches, no "real world information" or anything like that. You can mention sketches in the main Rove article. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:01, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm on my way to a second GA with A Day in the Life, a popular Beatles song. Would you mind doing a second PR on it? Orphaned non-free media (Image:Aoe4and5.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Aoe4and5.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. FAC

The problems that exist (besides the citations) are not with your article, but with the video game articles in general, i.e. there is no MoS for how to make a "series" article. Here is a suggestion - use "sets" to find out some of this information. AoE came out with box sets that linked games together, right? I'm sure there may be a review on the set that has something like "this is a set of three of the best games of the series" or similar. An easy way to find out this is to go to a videogame store, pick up a box, turn it around, write down any quotes that are similar to that, and search for them online. Ottava Rima (talk) 13:00, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

I have one of these box sets (contains original, and Rise of Rome), and even on that, the quotes on the back talk about the games in and of themselves. I haven’t really come across much in the way of discussing the series as a whole…it’s generally just passing mentions in reviews of a game in the series (or of another game, when the AoE series is cited as an influence). It is frustrating, and after this FAC, I’ll try to get WP:VG to make some more streamlined guidelines on this sort of thing, because I agree, there isn’t as much documentation as there could be (if there is, I haven’t seen it…). dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:13, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Music samples

Do you, per chance, have any access to Audacity or some other program that could cut a song into a thirty second interval for use in an article? If you did that'd be awesome. NSR77 TC 00:18, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

(Sorry to bump in uninvited) You can also use Garageband and a free program such as Max to convert AIFF to OGG (this is, of course, if you have a Mac.) I've been using them for lots of recent articles without a hitch. Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 00:46, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I have Audacity...email me if you need me to use it for anything (g1ggyman@gmail.com). Dave, Mac sucks. :D Thus, AIFF is inferior to MP3 (waits for NSR to say he has AIFFs (I can't help you with those, I don't think)). dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 01:06, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

AoE FAC

Hi, I hope you do not mind me editing the Gameplay section. Feel free to revert the changes if they did worse to the article. I have not altered the content, but just brushed up the prose, reduced redundant elements, put into active voice, and grammar. There is something I have to explain. I am trying to get the text to be easy on reading and the tools used frown upon certain terms like "historical accuracy" (replaced with "faithfulness to history). Desysop poll

Hey there DHMO. Saw your response to my response to your response. :-). Based on reading your last response, I realize now (looking back at what I said, starting with "did you even read this...",) was rather harsh. My apologies. I wasn't typing it harshly, I didn't mean it harshly, but now rereading it myself, it was harsh. Sorry to come off so combatitive my friend, not my intention at all. As for me, I'm not gonna reply to your post, it looks better that way because you made 5 very valid points for others to think about without old keeper retorting on about them. For now, I'll keep watching the desysop poll, but I'm not going to edit there anymore most likely. Life's too short, I really don't care that much (it wasn't my idea in the first place, but I ran with it, so I'm guilty there). Lettin' it go, as there is no chance of consensus. Cheers, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 18:45, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

No hard feelings mate. There is a chance at consensus...I'm happy to change my mind if an argument that convinces me is brought up. That's how discussions work (or, should work...). I still don't particularly like the idea (ironically, the response to my comment was a very weak point that didn't address it all...but meh...) and I just can't see how someone could not be offended by rights being removed "for housekeeping". Maybe it's just me...anti-bureacracy that I am, and all. It feels like it's my angry Romanian blood filtering through...:) I dunno. Whatever. The point is, you're not inactive (nor have you been for a year) and that's a good thing. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:58, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for your kind words. :) Home cities only appeared in the most recent game (and expansions) so there isn't really much more to say on them...I'll comment this on the FAC too. Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 23:58, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
That's not what I meant - sorry for not being more clear. Home cities are persistent across multiple instances of a user playing the AoE III game. The original and version 2 did not have features that could be accessed across multiple user games - after you defeated your opponents, your game was over and you'd start from scratch the next time. AoE III allows the home city to be improved and used every time you play. I don't think that was explained that well in this article (it was explained pretty well in the article it was linked too), and should be expanded just a bit. Karanacs (talk) 14:09, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
It shows who's played AoE3 and who passed it up as being too modern (guns + AoE = blah)! I'll try and explain it a bit better. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Alright, I sent the email. It was hard to choose what 30 second clip to have you cut, that's what took so long. Haha. "My Friends" is good, but it was kind of written in order to hold onto some of the mainstream audience the band gained through "Under the Bridge". The lyrics, however, accurately reflect Kiedis' depression at the time. One Hot Minute is indeed a good album, and any true Chili Peppers fan should not disregard it, but Navarro just...wasn't meant to be a Pepper. If you really want to hear a good slow Red Hot Chili Peppers song, listen to "I Could Have Lied". It's utterly beautiful. NSR77 TC 02:16, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Haha, you're joking, right? I hate them more than Limewire, which is saying a lot. My next project is probably going to be Disintegration. The Cure has surpassed the Smashing Pumpkins as my third favorite music artist. What did you mean by the small comment? NSR77 TC 03:00, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Email me if you want any more of Live In Hyde Park, unless, of course, you already have it. You see the Chili Peppers granted Europe, Australia and Japan the privilege of their only live album. Those of us in the United States have to import it. NSR77 TC 03:04, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
