Your recent editing history at Neutral buoyancy shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. RexxS (talk) 18:09, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I've just found this: User talk:140.186.248.154, while reviewing your contributions. Thank you for taking the time to reach out, even if it was in a place where it is near impossible to find. I am one of the two editors who has reverted your four attempts to insert changes to Neutral buoyancy. I first saw your actions after the third time you inserted content along the lines of "all external forces acting on a physical body immersed in a fluid average out to zero" and I reverted your third third addition as I thought you were merely over-complicating a relatively simple concept: neutral buoyancy occurs when the average density of a submerged object is the same as the average density of the surrounding fluid. I left you the note above about edit-warring which refers you to the article talk page, Talk:Neutral buoyancy, where you can discuss the changes you wish to make without disrupting the article further.
You can imagine my dismay when you thanked me for my warning, and then promptly re-inserted your changes once more. Hence the "Edit warring noticeboard discussion" immediately above. I've given more concrete reasons for my last revert on Talk:Neutral buoyancy, and you are welcome to join in the conversation there. --RexxS (talk) 18:41, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
