Controversial topic area alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Eastern Europe or the Balkans. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. — Newslinger talk 08:08, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Newslinger talk 08:09, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

March 2021[edit]

The article you have just edited, RT (TV network), has a prominent edit notice saying that only one revert is permitted. You have just made a second revert. On top of this, what you are edit-warring for is inclusion of unsourced material which is prohibited by our policies. I could have already blocked your account, and you may be sure I will do it next time. Thank you for understanding.--Ymblanter (talk) 08:30, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ymblanter, if I may kindly clarify, the lawsuit is public information. The lawsuit was filed in the S.D.N.Y. (Southern District of New York). You can view a copy of the lawsuit via the PACER system. Other credible sources are available below. The material is not "unsourced", it is verifiable and completely accurate, sir.

Kind regards,

We do not add all public intormation on Wikipedia. We only add some (not all) information which has been highlighted by reliable sources.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:13, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ymblanter, Justia is a credible source. You can clearly see the lawsuit is real.

As far as I see nobody is saying it is not real. However, not everything which is real must be in the article. Btw I have seen that another new account tried to add the same (and equally poorly sourced) information. I do not know whether you operate both accounts or not, but I have protected the article, and whoever resumes adding this after the expiration of the page protection will be blocked. This is not how we resolve disputes.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:17, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/GeniusHistory, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Blocked as a sockpuppet[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked for one week from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of VladdyDaddyBoi per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/GeniusHistory. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:20, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
