Please go ahead with the deletion, I already blanked the page. It was supposed to be a subpage of my userpage. GWicke (talk) 22:32, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2016 is almost here! Mjohnson (WMF) and I are running two workshops for IdeaLab during the conference, and you are invited to join us for either (or both!)

If you have a proposal or idea you are thinking about, and would like a space to work on it on your own or with others, please consider joining us for either the Thursday or Saturday sessions. We'll discuss a little about IdeaLab and how it works, and the rest of the time is space for idea building. You can also use this session to ask questions about Wikimedia Foundation grants that are available if your proposal or idea may need funding. Thanks, and see you at the conference! Phab T53736 comment/query[edit]

Excuse me for commenting here rather than at T53736:Redirects to sections/anchors should not depend on redirectToFragment javascript, but anonymous posting is not possible there. You wrote:

"To clarify: I was talking about the 'redirected from' notice, which at least the current description does not call out as needs-to-work-without-JS. While fundamental functionality like linking clearly shouldn't rely on JS, it might make sense to rely on JS for less critical features like small notices aimed primarily at editors, especially when that enables better cache performance."

The "redirected from x" notice is functional in that it is what allows an editor (including those without javascript) to edit the redirect x.

Thanks for your time and consideration. 24.151.10.165 (talk) 16:21, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
