February 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Bezliudivka has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://bezludivka-tv.blogspot.com/. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, fansite, or similar site (see 'Links to avoid', #11), then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yandex.People's map, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A radically new article than the previous one. Do not delete. It not advertising. The article has many versions in other languages, it has sources on English --Ffederal (talk) 19:11, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It has only one source in its English version, and I am not certain as to the reliability of that source. You need to provide evidence of notability as shown by non-trivial discussion in multiple reliable independent verifiable secondary sources, and the current article still does not do this. You have tried to create this article at least three times so far under different names and without adequate sourcing, the previous versions having been deleted as promotional. You have no userpage, and you have made only 82 edits to the English Wikipedia, a large proportion related to maps and Yandex— can I as what your relationship is to this company? KDS4444 (talk) 06:34, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:KDS4444, User:Ffederal - I have nominated Yandex Maps for deletion, and have included a package of related articles in the deletion discussion. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:05, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I created the article only at the second attempt. If the article did not initially have English-language sources, then it was not a reason to remove it quickly. Well, if you not knowing our russian a well-known company, analogue of Google, is not an excuse to delete the article. There is an article in English Wikipedia about Yandex and his pridukts: Yandex Data Factory, Yandex.Direct, Yandex Disk, Yandex.Money, Yandex Search, Yandex.Taxi, Yandex.Translate. I'm an ordinary person, not a Yandex employee. I just wanted that if there are English-language articles about other Yandex products, then articles about maps should also be there.--Ffederal (talk) 15:40, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I have nominated them all for deletion, both for notability reasons and for tone reasons. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:07, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest Question[edit]

Once again, do you have a connection with Yandex? All of your edits have had to do with Yandex. If you really are not affiliated with Yandex and want to contribute to the encyclopedia, you may ask at the Teahouse how to help out with any of the five million articles that we already have, rather than trying to create one that largely duplicates ones that we already have. Robert McClenon (talk) 02:19, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I only draw Yandex.People's map, as a volunteer. And that's all. If you don't know, I edited a lot of articles and not only about Yandex. Why would you put to delete a lot of articles about Yandex, which is often mentioned in the news, they are used by millions? And Yandex-translator better than the Google Translator.

If you have not previously known Yandex products, this is not a sign that the articles are promotional--Ffederal (talk) 12:46, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Yandex.Mail[edit]

Hello Ffederal,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Yandex.Mail for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Hello, Ffederal. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 13:41, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Geneteka moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Geneteka, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Geneteka, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:23, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Geneteka[edit]

Hello, Ffederal. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Geneteka".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Stepanakert, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia.
