Professor Kenneth Norrie[edit]

Hi, I saw you reverted my changes to this article. According to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people) qualifiers like professor are usually not added to the article name, not before the name anyway. Look for instance in the John Smith article for examples. Also, if you have more information, could you expand the article. Because right now the article probably fails Wikipedia:Notability (academics). Cheers, Garion96 (talk) 14:43, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your response. It doesn't has to be professor btw, Kenneth Norrie (law) or whatever you prefer. Just not the honorific in the name. Also, you can sign comments on talk pages with 4 tildes (~~~~). Happy editing, Garion96 (talk) 14:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Law Clinic[edit]

The article you've submitted doesn't seem to merit its own article--perhaps it can be integrated into the larger article on the university? The institution isn't notable on its own, but the information can still be included elsewhere. -- Merope 18:24, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps renaming it to Strathclyde Law Clinic, and including more information would be better. Look at our policies concerning notability and reliable sources. You might also want to create the article in your userspace (for example, at User:Farrell1967/Strathclyde Law Clinic) so you'll have more time to work on it without fear of it being deleted. Good luck! -- Merope 16:36, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Mark Poustie[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Mark Poustie, by Javit, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Mark Poustie seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Mark Poustie, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Mark Poustie itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 12:32, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
