The Idries Shah Foundation - LOGO

Dear Esowteric, I am translating the page The Idries Shah Foundation in italian. Alas the logo doesn't appear probably because I don't have the rights. Hi, the image has been uploaded as a non-free, fair use logo to English Wikipedia, so it can only be used on English Wikipedia (as far as I know). You need to upload as a non-free logo with fair use to the Italian Wikipedia site. The reason that the portrait of Idries Shah works on both English and Italian Wikipedia sites is that it has been uploaded and licenced at Wikimedia Commons – but you can't do that for a non-free image like a logo.

Have a look at the logo at English Wikipedia to see how you establish a fair use rationale.

I managed to find this, but I don't have the required permissions on the Italian site: Help: Upload a file to it.wp. I found it by going to the file upload wizard on the English site, then clicking on the IT language on the left-hand-side. Esowteric+Talk 13:13, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
