Proposed deletion of Downtango[edit]

The article Downtango has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I don't see how this software piece is notable (WP:N).

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Notability[edit]

WP:N has some helpful sections, in particular, check Wikipedia:Notability (software). Note that your argument is based on a Wikipedia logical fallacy :) i.e. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS; in other words, you may be right that GetRight should not have an article, neither. Both of those articles look poorly referenced to me. If you disagree with me, feel free to remove the prod notice, but if other references are not added, I think we will need to escalate this to a wider community discussion at WP:AFD (and the community may decide I am in the wrong, of course - time will tell). Speedy deletion nomination of Webctor[edit]

This is an ad. The article does not explain why the software is notable. If the article hadn't been around since 2012, I would suggest speedy under G11 or A7.
