Regarding your email[edit]

The article for Osayuki Godwin Oshodin was deleted because there was no claim to notability per the notability guidelines for academics. You are welcome to recreate the article if you can show that he meets those guidelines. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:02, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your second email, I do not offer mentorship or editor adoption. It is nothing personal against you. It is just that I do not have the time to offer any type of formalized help. I will answer any questions that you might have as best as I can in an informal basis. If you want a formal mentorship, I recommend that you seek another experienced editor through the Adopt-a-user program. If you have any additional questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. I would prefer that you use my Wikipedia talk page instead of email as I do not read my email very often and only have my email available for communications that may disclose private personal information. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:12, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Professor Osayuki Godwin Oshodin.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Professor Osayuki Godwin Oshodin.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 13:15, 25 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Osayuki goodwin oshodin"[edit]

A page you created, Osayuki goodwin oshodin, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is nonsense or gibberish.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. waywardhorizons (talk) 21:39, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

May I commend WP:CITE to you, please, for this article. Alternatively simply add bare links but use WP:REFLINKS to fill in the citations after use. Either is fine. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 12:37, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the email. I find it easier to use talk pages because they make things easier to refer to. We were all new once :). Before you contribute much more, please may I suggest you read WP:CITE and play with the concepts there, probably in your sandbox (see the top of the page here, the very top, for a link. It allows us to make far more of a url elsewhere than just the url. Look at templates such as {{cite web}} and also the tools in the editor that you are using to create and edit articles.
We need to do more than just add a url to an article. We need to make that addition a useful and full citation in order to make the article apprach excellence. If you need detailed help in the matter User:Timtrent/A good article may be of some small use to you. or add the text {{helpme}} to your page here and ask under it for the specific help you would like. SOmeone will drop by and help you quite soon after that.
All this will help you to be the best contributor you can be. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 12:59, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I just moved a citation you placed. It was citing the incorrect element in the opening paragraphs, so I have repurposed it. If you have a close lok at the article history you may get more information on the better ways there are of doing these things Fiddle Faddle (talk) 13:42, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Again regarding email I am glad you now understand the REFLINKS tool. May I suggest you use it periodically rather than at the end of an editing session? And please be very accurate with ensuring that a citation cites with precision the element or elements of the article it is intended to cite. Enjoy editing here. May you bring much clarity to the articles that need sit. I;'m glad I was of some use to you. Fiddle Faddle (talk) 14:07, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Resourcery has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tony Obuh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Tony Obuh, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tony Obuh, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.stelladimokokorkus.com/2014/09/delta-state-2015-governorship-aspirant.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
