References[edit]

I checked out the citation you added to the childhood memories article. It is almost good. Seems like you were missing a couple pieces of information. Did you use the citation tool to make the reference? It should look more like this:

<ref>{{cite web|last=Jacobs|first=Tom|title=Childhood Memories Provoke Charitable Behavior|url=http://www.miller-mccune.com/culture-society/childhood-memories-provoke-charitable-behavior-29402/|publisher=Miller-McCune|accessdate=21 June 2011}}</ref>

It is easiest to click on the "Cite" link at the top of the edit box, and then choose "cite web" from the "Templates" drop down menu.

Week 2 assignments[edit]

Your critique and citation are excellent

  1. Impulse control disorder - This was claimed by User:Modernhope but he is in your group and might be willing to give it to you.
  2. Traumatic grief - This would be fine
  3. Patient abuse - Another student has claimed this
  4. Coping strategies - I would think this would be a good choice.
  5. Childhood memory - Making a good article out of this might be tough. But if you can find some "science-y" sources that'd be fine.

So pick whichever you like and list it on the class page. I'll take Impulse control disorder down for now until I hear from that other guy. --MTHarden (talk) 21:18, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll take Coping strategies, I posted the article next to my name on the Assignment page EYarde1 (talk) 21:23, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your DYK nomination of Coping (psychology)[edit]

Hello! Your submission of Coping (psychology) at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know!

• Actually, as of the time I write this, your article has not been reviewed yet, and there are no comments underneath your entry, as you do not have a proper hook. Please fix the hook so that it is complete. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 00:29, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your GA nomination of Coping (psychology)[edit]

The article Coping (psychology) you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Coping (psychology) for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article.

I see that you are relatively new to Wikipedia, and I don't want to seem overly harsh in my assessment. This is a much-improved article with many positive aspects. It is not currently up to "Good Article" standard, but please don't let that discourage you from continuing to work on this or other articles. (Any improvement is appreciated!) I would recommend improving the article based in the review, and then submitting it to Wikipedia:Peer review. You may also want to read other psychology-related articles that have attained "Good Article" status, such as Attachment disorder, Stereotype threat, or Maternal deprivation, for comparison.
