I never called anyone a pedophile[edit]

In the radio station in the game liberty City Stories , a caller said the FBI was looking at his computer because of pictures. Pay attention buddy.

I misunderstood your edit summary. Please try being a bit less surly. :)  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 22:51, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

== VMP wiki article ==[edit]

Hi,

you keep removing my notes about the Viewpoint Media Player. Look I am not sure how to phrase them so they sound the way YOU want them to sound. if you feel they sound too much like an advertisement, fine, repharse them. But do not delete the entire stuff. it is just wrong to only say the VMP is used for advertising. It is just one side of the story. the VMP is a media player like Flash is. the fact that a lot of people do use it to display advertising is true too. (like it is the case for flash too). but you cannot simplify the VMP reason of being around advertising.

the fact that the VMP is used by car manufacturers to create car configurators is a fact. it is not an advertisement. people created games using the technology. web-merchants use it so you can have a 3d view of a product before purchasing it.

I am not going to keep modifying this article if my changes get deleted each time. I was trying to actually write something balanced and objective which truly describe what the VMP is.

I do feel that you are actually the person that wants to advertise his side of the story and who is not objective. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.215.146.170 (talk) 04:44, 5 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

You seem to minimize or remove the angle that its purpose is indeed advertising. Its installation without consent or knowledge of the user by AOL products does constitute malware behavior. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk to me :D 05:09, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
But its purpose is not advertising. that is my point. what makes you say that VMP's purpose is advertising? would you say Macromedia Flash's purpose is advertising? Both players are being used to display advertising this is true. But both players are also being used to create web content. In the end, VMP is mostly a flash player with 3d capabilities.
Now i do agree with the fact that it is being installed in AOL without user consent is an issue. And I think it is the only issue here. (a big one though)
It's why i also wanted to remove the last paragraph that says that it sends back information to Viewpoint's servers. it is wrong. The reason VMP is perceived as spyware is because it is installed without user consent.(in case of AOL). If you look at the history I didn't delete the part that says that.
So please, have a second look at my changes, because i do think they reflect reality much more reality. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.215.146.170 (talk) 13:50, 5 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
Seems acceptable. I just don't want someone shilling for Viewpoint to wreck the article, that's all. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk to me :D 21:31, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your signature[edit]

I've noticed that your signature is a bit long. I was wondering if you could perhaps consider shortening it a bit. You might want to read WP:SIG as well. JDtalk 00:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your gun[edit]

I noticed you were displaying your gun in the warning you issued to a blatant, bigoted vandal. On that warning, I've placed your gun back in its holster, but please don't worry: vandals like that don't last long here without being blocked. Just make sure that if you feel they are a blatant vandal, that you've placed the {{blatantvandal}} template on their talk page, leaving them elligible for blocking at any time in the future.

Atlant 12:58, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. People with byzantine and backward views of life really ought not to be spewing their fecal matter all over Wikipedia and the Internet, but thanks for the tip about the blatantvandal tag. :)  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 17:17, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
(Just FYI) I have no dispute at all about your analysis of the situation.
Atlant 17:36, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just making things clear, that's all. :)  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 17:49, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please do a CheckUser on User:Blue Sand521 to see if he's the same IP? This mess all started when I ventured that Blue Sand and the IP need to present an actual case contesting the deletion of Young B instead of the childish whining, personal attacks, and logical fallacies coming from their general direction. Apparently they're escalating to vandalism of user pages in their undeclared war. Wonderful.

See the talk page as well; they've turned it into a 'Let's whine and make baseless accusations and personal attacks!' personal pity party. It's a mess. I'd appreciate your help. Thank you. |||||| E. Sn0 =31337Talk 00:20, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neither User:L0b0t nor I has bureaucrat priveledges (in fact, neither of us is an admin), so we couldn't do that anyway. I'd advise trying to go through WP:RCU if it continues and it's bad enough. Anyway, they should try WP:DRV. Sorry if I'm restating everything you already know; but it's hard for me to figure out exactly what's going on with this one. Cheers. -Patstuarttalk|edits 13:36, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize; I didn't know you didn't have CheckUser privileges. It appears the conflict is subsiding as it is anyway.  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 17:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Userpage Revert[edit]

No problem. I reverted your last edit to the IPs talk page. I did not think it was any point in be rude even if he was a troll. You also removed my test4 warning. It shuld also be notes that I am not an administrator and can not block the IP but I have reported him. Happy editing:-) Rettetast 23:20, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Any time. I live for pwning bigot vandals, especially when they get mad! They then invariably screw up bad enough to get a nice long block; self-pwn! :D  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 02:59, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Hello. I was doing a bit of RC patrol and noticed a few of your edit summaries which I felt were 'over the line'; examples include this and this. While I agree that both instances were clear vandalism, insulting the vandal isn't the best course of action - it can be construed as a personal attack. I'm not trying to be the RC police or anything, but it's much better just to revert without commenting on the editor personally. Crystallina 00:06, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'll tone them down. Stupidity still deserves punishment; blocking the vandals will suffice. :)  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 00:07, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, I was about to post a topic about this. I'm glad to see yourself as a very good recent changes patroller but the more inflaming an edit summary you leave (such as this recent one 1) will provoke them to continue their vandalism spree just to spite you. Don't feed 'em with more attention. Keep up the good work and just try to prevent your fingers from typing a bit more steam than there needs to be ;).¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:41, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, i really gotta tone it down then. My philosophy is that when they're angry and you're calm, they're much easier to deal with when they explode. Maybe this one just needs the cold clinical treatment; he's obviously a proxy-hopper.  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 23:43, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to check in again on you but consider breathing in then out and counting to ten ;)...this comment was made in reference to yet another edit summary that was placed before counting from 1-10¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 05:18, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's probably a few more floating around too. I guess the 'vandal=chewtoy' tactic can come back to bite me in the ass. :P  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 05:22, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Glad you appreciate my thanks.
I have a favor to ask, however. See Trans fat immediately. I sense a nasty edit war brewing between myself and a food industry insider who turned the article into pro-transfat propaganda full of weasel words and outright lies. A large number of source links got deleted too. I feel this is very serious and should be fought with the utmost severity! Thank you.  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 22:24, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know anything about trans fats so I'm probably not the best person to come to about food industry POV. What I do know is that Wikipedia policy doesn't allow usernames that contain the name of an organisation. User:ISEO has been blocked indefinitely [1] for that reason. -- Steel 22:35, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Trans fats are extremely unhealthy. They're also known as 'partially hydrogenated oil'. Unfortunately, they're way cheaper to make than lard which is very much healthier. My opinion of trans fats is they're completely unfit for human consumption in any way whatsoever.
Thanks for 'taking care' of this problem. I edited his user page with an indefblock tag (and removed his link. Wikipedia is not for advertising).  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 22:38, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Saying linkspam wasn't the best edit summary. It started out as lainkspam and then change to the youtube link. Please don't feel the trolls[edit]

I noticed you have had some trouble with 64.31.99.95. In such cases, it's better just to stick to the generic test templates, as adding "baiting" and/or joking commentary merely feeds them. A couple of texts on the issue are at WP:RBI, WP:DENY, and WP:DNFT. Cheers, and keep up the good RC patrolling, Daniel.Bryant T · C ] 06:37, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I'll stop trollbaiting. :) It was fun while it lasted though; these excitable short-tempered racist types are hilarious when they come unhinged and fly off the deep end! He was no trouble, just entertainment. Good luck with your hunting, good sir. :)  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 06:44, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I concur, and you surely underestimate the effect of a test1 template on an attention seeking idiot. That's just hilarious (the attack templates are good too) ;).
Yeah it is. I know about DNFTT, but dayum toying with some of these excitable Jack Russell Terrierish morons is SO MUCH FBLEEPING FUN!!!
On a side note, do you have any idea why the vandals here consider gay as an insult? That still amazes me. Why should we feel insulted? :D -- lucasbfr talk 07:24, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Civility[edit]

I notice that when fighting vandalism you often are less than civil in your edit summaries. Fighting vandals is good, and fighting spammers is better, but please read and follow the rules of Wikipedia:Civility, which is policy here.

It occurs to mean that your comments may be intended has humorous rather than mean, however you need to understand that in a text only environment humor can often seem rude. Specifically things like:

  • DEATH TO SPAMMERS! ALLAHU AKBAR!!! <-KABOOM!!!-> [2]
  • Umm, dood, you're nucking futs! Please stop smoking the banana peel :P [3]
  • Bigots? Save Wikipedia from yourself then. Never edit again, enema-bag. [4]
  • The person who is better than you (measured objectively so it's not ego talking) tells you to STFU, Death to Racists FTW asshat! [5]

are not civil, comment on the content, not the contributor. If this continues it may result in a temporary block, especially when personal attacks are involved. Keep up the great work vandal fighting, we need it, thanks. HighInBC (Need help? Ask me) 21:44, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your vandal message[edit]

Actually all I did was find it. I didn't write it. I think it's called the Internet Manifesto.  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 03:40, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Civility, again[edit]

I have asked you before, please do not insult or mock the vandals, or anyone one Wikipedia. Since my last warning you have made edits like this[6] and this[7] and this[8].

I see you have toned it down, but I am not asking you to clean up your insults, but instead to stop altogether. Try not to laugh at people when you warn them. You can correct people's behavior without making personal comments, or reveling in their warnings. You vandal fighting is appreciated but continued incivility will result in a block. Welcome![edit]

Hi, E. Sn0 =31337=, welcome to WikiProject LGBT Studies!

We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying, categorizing, and improving articles of interest to the LGBT community. Some points that may be helpful:

  • Our main aim is to help improve LGBT-related articles, so if someone asks for help with an article, please try your hardest to help them if you are able.
  • Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
  • The project has several ongoing and developing activities, such as article quality assessment, and a project-wide article collaboration, both of which you are welcome to take part in. We also have a unique program to improve our lower quality articles, Jumpaclass, so please consider signing up there.
  • If you have another language besides English, please consider adding yourself to our translation section, to help us improve our foreign LGBT topics.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome!

Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 20:28, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your Userboxes[edit]

Hey man, I "borrowed" a couple of your userboxes for my userpage. Namely the ones on personal attacks and deletionists. You're one of the first users here who damn near aligns with me on every issue. Give me my guns, stop the stupid war on drugs, give gay people the same rights everyone else has (I'm straight if that matters?), and stop censorship on Wikipedia. Good on ya. Btw, let me know if I overstepped my bounds taking those userboxes. Later, ♫ Bitch and Complain Sooner ♫ 03:14, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Announcement: If someone requests help or feedback on an article, please try your hardest to help them out if you are able. Thank you.

Project News
  • The LGBT Portal has once again been revamped and a work rota started. Efforts towards Featured Portal status are slowly coming together.
  • The assessment system has been a great success, we have tagged over 4000 articles! Please tag any LGBT related articles you come across by adding {{LGBTProject | class=}} to the talkpage. Please see the Assessment Department for how to assess an article according to the grading system.
  • The Translation department has changed its focus, to LGBT articles about non-English topics and people on which there may be more information on the relevant foreign Wikipedia. Please add your name if you are fluent in any language other than English.
  • Jumpaclass is picking up slowly, with nine people having entered. With over 2000 stubs we need to improve our article quality. Please sign up and get it going! Challenge another user to see how far you can jump a stub!
  • There is an ongoing discussion about the current LGBT categorisation system here, here, and a little bit here. A special page has now been set up here to deal with this.
  • A Watchlist has been set up to monitor controversial and/or highly vandalised articles. It can also be used for article disputes, just add a note explaining the nature of the dispute.
  • With the influx of so many active members, there is now enough support for a LGBT studies peer review, which may be found here. It's in the beta phase at the moment, so bear with us if we make any mistakes. Feel free to peer review any articles you have been working on.
  • It was agreed this month to start reducing the uses of the Notice board, as many members felt that it was not effective. An open tasks template has been created, bringing together important announcements, FAC/FARs, Peer reviews, XfDs, the COTM, and requested articles. You may desire to watchlist it. A Deletion sorting subpage is also now working to bring together XfDs - this should be bot-driven, but we have not currently tagged enough articles to make this fully automated, so please update the list with any LGBT-related XfDs you come across.

Civility in edit summaries[edit]

Hi there. Thank you for contributing by reverting vandalism. I notice that your uncivil edit summaries have been a topic of discussion on this page in the past. Please keep in mind that even when dealing with vandals, it is important to be civil. For some additional information:

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --NickContact/Contribs 04:04, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop the uncivil edit summaries now[edit]

This is the third time I have brought this issue up, I am giving you a 12 hour block. If this continues in the future then the blocks will get longer. HighInBC(Need help? Ask me) 04:06, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well yeah[edit]

Your telling me. Check the Glock19 and Walther P22 pages for interesting arguments right now. Alyeska 21:37, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for uncivil edit summaries again[edit]

I have blocked you again for your use of insults in edit summaries. I have been asking you not to do this for months, so this time the block is 48 hours. HighInBC(Need help? Ask me) 23:36, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Specifically edit summaries like:

are out of line. Left unchecked this behavior can lead to indefinite ban. Please stop making comments about the contributors and stick to commenting on the contributions. HighInBC(Need help? Ask me) 23:39, 26 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow[edit]

You have a lot of userboxes, Einy. I'm impressed.

Thought you might like this.

Thanks. For a second, I thought I was getting shot at by an Admin for reverting vandals. Would you believe these people at Wikipedia don't punish vandals or take steps (like reg-only) to stem the tide? Madness...  E. Sn0 =31337Talk 19:57, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup templates[edit]

Just to let you know that most cleanup templates, like "{{Unreferenced}}", "{{Fact}}" and "{{Cleanup}}" etc., are best not "subst"ed . See WP:SUBST for more details. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 11:32 7 January 2008 (GMT).

Take it to ArbCom or talk to R9tgokunks and ask for a WP:CHECKUSER. Don't bother people who had zero to do with your being put on that list.  E. Sn0 =31337talk 21:12, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Idiot exploiter[edit]

Please do not make personal attacks. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Toypedo[edit]

The article Toypedo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There do not appear to be any independent sources for this product to indicate notability. (I checked Google and only found catalog entries.)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that User:E. Sn0 =31337=/tunak tunak tun, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

  • It is unambiguous vandalism or an obvious hoax. (See section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia; doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

  • It appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. (See section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ―Susmuffin Talk 02:12, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:E. Sn0 =31337=/Wikitruth[edit]

Hello, E. Sn0 =31337=. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Wikitruth".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. ―Susmuffin Talk 02:21, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
