May 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm Donner60. An edit you recently made to Ritterhude seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 20:09, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I will take your word for it, strike out the above comment and leave your edits in the article, although I may give it another look in the future. I cannot speak for any other editor since we mostly work independently. Donner60 (talk) 20:40, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you add content to Wikipedia articles, it must be supported by reliable sources- without this, it will almost certainly be reverted.
Also, on User talk:Donner60, you implied that this account is being used by multiple users- note that a Wikipedia account may only be used by 1 editor. Please could you clarify the situation? Joseph2302 (talk) 20:54, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Dxjzljz and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Abecedare (talk) 20:50, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also note that each student in your class who wishes to edit wikipedia will need to get an account of their own, ie multiple students should not share logins or make edits from a single account. See WP:ROLE for details, and let me know if you have any questions. Abecedare (talk) 20:56, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
