Edit war warning[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Obesity paradox ‎. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jytdog (talk) 15:42, 23 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jytdog: You place an uw-ew warning on his talkpage that mentions:
..."reverts you have made" and "users are expected to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users edits".
I count one revert by him, two by you.
In your second revert edit summary you say: "please discuss on Talk per WP:BRD". BRD says: BRD is not an excuse to revert any change more than once. If your reversion is met with another bold effort, then you should consider not reverting, but discussing. The talk page is open to all editors, not just bold ones.
You may want to review the introduction to user warnings, section Commitment to Civility WP:UW, the multi-level warning templates WP:MLT and also WP:DONTBITE. Additionally, you could try to be more helpful to newcomers. What is he supposed to think when you first thank him for his contribution, then reverse it, and when he reverts your edit gets warned he may be blocked? Ssscienccce if you add content and it is reverted, you work it out on the talk page. adding it back after reversion is already edit warring. CONSENSUS is the heart of this place. Jytdog (talk) 04:36, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
And how does that absolve you from your responsibility to discuss it on the talk page? You claim to be an editor who strongly believes in the five pillars. Those include: Be open and welcoming to newcomers. If a conflict arises, discuss it calmly on the nearest talk pages.
I now notice that the welcome template and the warning template have the same time-stamp. Sure, that's not confusing at all for a newcomer, one editor who at the same time thanks and threatens him for his contributions ... ... Ssscienccce (talk) 05:25, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
