Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

Drankcarat (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I did not sock. I did use about 3-4 account, without socking. I never received a block on any of the accounts, nor did I edit the same articles with the accounts, nor appeared as two at any point. This block is incorrect since there was no socking involved with the other accounts. They are, OnurKocaman, DarthMaul15, ÖmerTuncay Only instance where accounts were used editing the same article is DarthMaul15 and Drankcarat in Libya Civil War without socking. Drankcarat (talk) 07:57, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

If you are using different accounts to edit the same article, it is socking. 331dot (talk) 10:38, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My bad. I've read WP:SOCK#Inappropriate uses of alternative accounts and did not catch a part about "not editing the same article with different accounts". In any case I am now aware of it, and promise to do not repeat it again. I also acknowledge that I will be rightfully blocked if I do so. I think it was a somewhat over-warning to indef block all my 4 accounts for this issue, that would've been permanently solved with a user warning. I'd like to request Administrator attention for unblocking once again, thank you. Drankcarat (talk) 19:30, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Drankcarat, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
