Stop adding content without valid sources and without prose explaining why it's controversial. Hi. I have added an additional sentence explaining some of the resultsant controversy. 'Giles Coren' is currently trending on Twitter, with over 11 thousand tweets, if you wish to see more of what I'm referring to.

I recognise that the citations are not ideal, but there's no resasonable doubt that the tweets were posted, so I don't see a good reason to delete reference to them. If you have a good suggestion for how to cite them more appropriately, that would be very welcome. I'm unfamiliar with how to provide good sources deleted tweets. Something trending on Twitter isn't encyclopaedic. Someone being an arsehole on Twitter isn't encyclopaedic. Somebody's vague Tweets aren't encyclopaedic. The angry Tweets of Owen Jones aren't encyclopaedic. All my warmest wishes, ItsKesha (talk) 23:57, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Despite your unhelpful and rude attitude, I've worked out how to cite the deleted tweets using the Wayback Machine (well, for one of them, so far...). The tweets caused controversy (beyond a typical Twitter spat), and I can cite sources for both the original tweets and the response. You may not consider Twitter very serious or prestiguous, but numerous prominent writers and journalists, the general secretary of a national union, and many others expressing outrage and/or calling for Coren to be fired is controversy. Sunetra Gupta UnHerd interview[edit]

I don't know if you're aware, but your paragraph on the Sunetra Gupta page about the UnHerd interview was deleted on 7-Dec-20, and it's not clear to me why. The deleter Alexbrn is suggesting that the sources cited at the time of deletion are unreliable, when they seem anything but.
