Copyright violations[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Hon Hai Precision, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material.

This article appears to be a direct copy from "http://www.foxconn.com/about/introduction.asp". As a copyright violation, Hon Hai Precision appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Hon Hai Precision has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:Hon Hai Precision. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at Hon Hai Precision, after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words.

Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia.

I have also marked LUKOIL Overseas Holding, The Bank of Bermuda Limited, and Bermuda Stock Exchange for deletion in accordance with the same policies. Staecker 04:20, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you attempted to merge these two articles together. The attempt has been reverted. A merger of these articles has been discussed before at Talk:MCI WorldCom and there has been no consensus to perform a merge. Please feel free to read the prior arguments, and if you still feel a merge is appropriate make a new merger proposal on the talk page of either article. --Allen3 talk 13:41, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why would you delete a source about their alleged crimes from that article, no matter whether it was or was not POV? —Gh87 05:54, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ[edit]

Firstly it looks like you've done some great work to The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ article, however I have to say that User:Reflex Reaction was right to remove the ", Ltd" from the article and I have now removed the "Limited" that you added back. Wikipedia's policy on naming company articles can be found here. Many thanks Ian3055 19:00, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Marconi[edit]

Hi. I'm not sure what you have done with Marconi Corporation and related pages is the best way of handling the subject. You have everything post the GEC/Marconi plc renaming redirecting to Telent which makes little sense. References to Marconi plc and Marconi Corporation plc should link to Marconi Corporation for a full history (1999-2005). I believed Telent should be a history of that company post Ericsson with a brief outline of the causes. Also edits you made such as "[GEC] was renamed to Marconi plc in 1999 and Telent_plc in 2005." are misrepresentitive. GEC was renamed Marconi plc which was then acquired by Ericsson (who retain the brand). The scraps that were left were renamed Telent. Regards --Mark83 20:03, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please use edit summaries[edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Mark83 20:10, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove Tokyo stock exchange symbol from Boeing?[edit]

Hi. You removed "TYO: 7661" from Boeing with no edit summary. It has been added back. --Apoc2400 (talk) 14:51, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad[edit]

A tag has been placed on Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Disambiguation link notification for November 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Michael Chan (actor), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Triad (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Xstrata may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi Diasimon2003,

thanks for writing a Chinese article to Langley Holdings! It's very rare that a (so) foreign language has created the article to a topic earlier than English Wikipedia. I've experienced this only one time before (Japanese Wikipedia was faster than English). Why were you interested in Langley Holdings?

Clara Pensions[edit]

Hi there,

My name is Maddy, and I work for Headland Consultancy. We are a PR firm that represents a number of clients, including Clara Pensions. Clara Pensions is a relatively new UK pensions provider which is part of a new breed of pension “superfunds”.

These superfunds have been created to bridge the gap for defined benefit pension schemes who are looking to transfer their pension members to an insurer, but cannot yet afford to do so. Clara is the first (and so far only) superfund to be approved by the Pensions Regulator. It expects to start transactions and welcome its first pension scheme members later in 2023.

I’m getting in touch with you today because I can see that you’ve written and contributed to a number of different pages about major UK pensions and financial services providers, including Standard Life and Scottish Widows. Given your established presence as a Wikipedia editor in this sector, I was wondering if you would be interested in creating an article about Clara Pensions.

Given that it’s a fairly recent challenger in the British pensions market, it has yet to have a Wikipedia page. I hope you will consider making this contribution to Clara’s Wikipedia presence. Do let me know if you have any questions or require any further information on the above.

Thanks,
