The article Derek Holt has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Information icon Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Climax Blues Band. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 15:40, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

May 2020[edit]

You must declare that you have a conflict of interest if you wish to engage or edit in topic areas which you are personally connected to. Assuming that you are the same person as the Derek Holt in the Climax Blues Band, you cannot edit that article. If you feel that there are changes that should be made, you may open an edit request on the talk page. DO NOT make edits yourself.--Jorm (talk) 18:22, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And if you aren't Derek Holt, then your user name amounts to impersonation at odds with user name policy. Largoplazo (talk) 18:29, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
