Just make them below and explain why this person should be considered one of "The Greats". --David Shankbone 19:41, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In nomination[edit]

Because contrary to his name, A Nobody is quite a somebody! Ecoleetage (talk) 02:22, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the nomination! Sincerely, --A NobodyMy talk 17:16, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Americans[edit]

Is there anyone on there who isn't American (the real life celebrities, not the Wikipedians)? It'd be quite nice to have an array of nationalities. Jolly Ω Janner 16:37, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Janner. The issue is that I do not feel a person should dedicate a photo they did not take themselves; I think a person should only dedicate their own work. Because I am based in New York, my photography is heavily American. That said, the following non-Americans are represented: Salman Rushdie, Enson Inoue, Sharin Foo and Milagros Schmoll. Small, but not so bad considering I'm limited to whoever washes up on the shores of Manhattan. --David Shankbone 17:14, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. I didn't realise you took them yourself! Maybe you could take pictures outside the UN. Jolly Ω Janner 18:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I only do event/press photography, not paparazzi, which I consider to be too debasing. I don't have press credentials for the U.N., but not too many international celebrities and authors show up there, I don't believe. Maybe they do. I've slowed down on my photography. --David Shankbone 23:59, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jfdwolff[edit]

Hi David. Still taking noms for these? User:Jfdwolff is the WikiDoc. He formerly ran the clinical medicine wikiproject singlehandedly, and has created probably more medical content than anyone here. Easily a great. -- Samir 01:35, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Samir - I will look over his work, and this is exactly why I take nominations because that's an area where I have no knowledge of the users who operate in it, so thank you. --David Shankbone 01:46, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'd strongly support that nomination, he's an asset to the project. Tim Vickers (talk) 22:49, 21 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi David. Another nom for your Hall of The Greats. >30 featured articles, innumerable DYKs, former arbitrator, prolific photographic contributions, and overall nice guy. Best regards -- Samir 01:47, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Excellent candidate - thank you. -->David Shankbone 23:21, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

nomination[edit]

Hey David, I'm not sure what your criteria are, but I'd like to suggest Moni3 as a candidate for your hall. Her FA's on a wide variety of topics are a great asset to the encyclopedia. LadyofShalott 16:10, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Excellent candidate - thank you. -->David Shankbone 23:22, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi David, Nehrams has been doing amazing things across several Wikiprojects for a long time now, and I would like to nominate him for your TG award please... regards... Johnfos (talk) 00:51, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
