Proper use of "'s" (as edited in Pink Floyd)[edit]
The "dangling apostrophe" is rarely approprate. It is only (usually, with rare exceptions) used when using the possesive tense on a plural form of a noun which ends in "S".
The confusion is often related to a singular form of a noun which ends in the letter "S". For example, "Roger Waters's solo work," is the correct form, as it is a singular noun which appends the "'s" to indicate the possesive.
To give a common example, the word "parent" is singular. "Parents" is the plural form of the noun. If your parents are together in their house, it is the proper form to use the dangling apostrophe and write "I went to dinner at my parents' house," as you are indicating the possesive of a plural noun. If one of your parents is gone and only one lives at the house, "I went to dinner at my parent's house," would be the right form.
I've been dealing with this all my life as my name ends in "S". If you want to research a relatively recent debate about the subject which many major media outlets made mistakes in, there was a big argument about it a few years back when Bridget Jones's Diary was released, as many media outlets were incorrectly printing the title as Bridget Jones' Diary. - dharmabum 12:08, 4 February 2006 (UTC)

By all means do your own research but consider that
1 Hannah Murray's resemblance to Liza Goddard is uncanny and the possible relationship is therefore worth exploring. It would at least add a human dimension to what currently appears to be an identity construct created by E4. 2 There appear to be no biographical details anywhere for Hannah Murray leading me to suspect that they are being deliberately withheld (i.e. not promoted) probably because of her age and possibly because acting is not currently her main career goal and/or Hannah Murray is not her real name. 3 A single part in an ephemeral, albeit heavily promoted, UK TV series does not qualify an actress for an encyclopedia entry. 4 You do not offer any triangulated references to confirm that "Hannah Murray" is any less a fictional character than "Cassie" but you have created an encyclopedia entry for her anyway (with virtually no content). All you have done is to act as a volunteer for the Skins marketing campaign which really isn't pushing very hard against the boundaries of human knowledge.
