Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, DChickpeas. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Olaf Falafel, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. PamD 11:43, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Editing[edit]

Hallo DChickpeas and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia, but I notice all your edits are to the same article, Olaf Falafel. Please read and note the above section about "Conflict of interest" editing.

Please also remember to add a reference for everything you add. I've sourced two of the Blobfish prizes/shortlist, by finding the sources in other articles, checking them, and copying them over. Please add a source for the "Best joke" thing.

Please remember to use italics for all book titles, and straight quotes/apostrophes rather than curly or slanted ones. Thanks, and Happy Editing. (Why not consider contributing to the encyclopedia in other articles too? It can be very satisfying, like doing an infinite jigsaw puzzle where there's always something else to be added in or tidied up!) PamD 11:47, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
