2010 Philadelphia Phillies season[edit]

Hi Coemgenus. I just wanted to let you know that this edit wasn't correct. User:Nejd inserted the correct information into the game slot for July 26. You removed his information and inserted the game info for July 27 into the previous day. I just wanted you to be aware, since your edit summary may have seemed a little harsh, and since the user is a relative newcomer, having mostly updated templates to this point. If you have any other questions, you can ask me on my talk page. Thanks! — KV5Talk • 11:47, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Where is Northwood in the Northeast?[edit]

National Register of Historic Places listings in Northeast Philadelphia says Woodrow Wilson Junior High School, 1800 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111, is in the Northwood neighborhood, but that seems incorrect to me, because Northwood is on the other side of the Roosevelt Boulevard, a good way from Cottman and Loretto. I added photos to that list. Can you help me with the neighborhood? --DThomsen8 (talk) 00:48, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Northwood is west of Frankford, I think. Wilson is definitely not in Northwood. I'd call it Castor Gardens, but the article on wiki calls that neighborhood "ill-defined", so it's hard to say. Castor Gardens is a lot more accurate than Northwood, though.
Great work on that page, by the way. I've enjoyed watching the pictures go up. Coemgenus 01:27, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am seeking a definition of the Northwood neighborhood, at Talk:Northwood, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Please comment if you can. --DThomsen8 (talk) 00:14, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ne irish spammer[edit]

Perhaps we can get a ban or block in place for the irish spammer's ip address. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Banning_policy ? Centerone (talk) 00:44, 1 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He certainly deserves it, but it's almost easier to keep reverting his efforts. --Coemgenus 18:36, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Samuel Bowman[edit]

Regarding your article on Bowman - it was suggested for DYK as "was selected to be a bishop in the Episcopal Church three times, but did not accept until the final time in 1858".

But, from how I interpreted the way you phrased the article, he did accept his first nomination, only to withdraw once it became clear that the laity disagreed and that there would be trouble. That's not the same as not having accepted at all. Could you clarify? DS (talk) 13:48, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The sources are not completely clear. How about "was selected to be a bishop in the Episcopal Church three times, but did not take office until the final time in 1858"? Coemgenus 20:07, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's much better (although I'd suggest omitting 'the final time'). DS (talk) 20:13, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
How about "was selected to be a bishop in the Episcopal Church three times, but did not take office until his third selection in 1858"? --Coemgenus 20:16, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Very nice; I'll make the necessary changes. DS (talk) 20:24, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Buffalo nickel[edit]

Hi, I think I've answered your concerns. Could you stop back at the FAC when you get a chance? All the best, and I'm glad you are liking the coin articles.--Wehwalt (talk) 17:33, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
