Thanks![edit]

Hi Cjt199677, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thanks for providing additional citations; just a couple of stylistic tips: there should never be a space before <ref>, and make sure you redact the apostrophes and quotation marks as per MOS:APOSTROPHE and MOS:QUOTEMARKS. Thank you again for your contributions!

Regards, 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 08:27, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Do I have to repeat myself? Please don't put a space before the refs. 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 22:00, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that, I've been copying a ref coding from another article which had a space between the <ref> tag and the previous text line, and didn't know that there was a message waiting for me from 2 days ago. Newer to coding and the editing side of Wikipedia, will fix for the next time. Cjt199677 (talk) 23:25, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
All good, I have had “interactions” in the past with unresponsive users and it’s pretty frustrating. Sorry if I sounded harsh. Weird that no notification went off though (you can check your settings for that). Best, 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 23:59, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, i understand. Just so I know, if i copy and paste the coding I'm sure you corrected on Ukraine and make sure there's no space....im doing everything else correct right? 😂 as youve noticed im only adding references on the articles, no tables, results, etc. Cjt199677 (talk) 00:22, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You are. But even if you happen copying a space by accident, simply double check it when you paste it. ;) (And remember to check whether the quotation marks and/or apostrophes fit the Manual of Style.) 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 00:32, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll make sure to double check. If i do it wrong just yell at me again and I'll fix it Lol Cjt199677 (talk) 00:38, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Cjt199677! See this edit of mine for when you need to use the same citation twice. Cheers! 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 19:14, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's good to know! I knew there was a way to do a double cite and was going to move back to it when I found the code but.....work distracted me. Thanks for helping me learn. :) As you can tell I learned a fair bit since our last chat regarding the coding structure of Wikipedia. ha Cjt199677 (talk) 19:35, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your page creation[edit]

Hi, Cjt199677,

I saw your new page, Escunited, and just wanted to clarify something. When linking to another article, brackets ([ and ]) should be used, and there should be two on each side of the phrase, ie Example.

You did nothing wrong, and your page is great for a new user, but I just wanted to let you know.

Thanks, Raltoid — Preceding undated comment added 19:33, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Raltoid - I actually knew that, but my brain went on autopilot when I made them. I just went in and fixed all of them so they're good to go now. Thanks for pointing it out! ~~~ Cjt199677 (talk) 19:36, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! Raltoid (talk) 19:37, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
