Your comment - You are correct about the current Reds not starting until 1882. However, I must point out (although I am not going to change the year) the current Reds take their name and some their traditions from the original Red Stockings. User:MelonBot/Member lists/WPHP[edit]

That list tells me that the last time you edited a subpage of Wikipedia:WikiProject League of Copyeditors was prior to April 2005 (unless you've edited a page there since December 17, when the list was last updated). Those statistics were compiled to assist with administration work at the League, to indicate who were the most regular and active contributors. Essentially MelonBot scraped a list of users from the League's member page (so you must have been a League member at some time in the distant past), then looked at the revision histories of each subpage, looking for each editor's most recent edit to that page. The most recent edit overall was recorded in the table. 1790 Cinncinnati[edit]

I'm not sure where to start here. The article got changed because we received a complaint from the Excite that the article was incorrect. The only usable reference you provided was the news item on the PASL website [1] - however, even though they mention the Excite crew coming to the league under the 1790 Cincinnati organization, that's not quite enough to assume that the Excite will no longer exist. It could be that the Excite has essentially split with some going to the PASL under a new name and some staying with the AISL as the Excite. I'd suggest waiting a bit and after the Excite makes a statement, or more Cincinnati area news picks up the story, hopefully the issue will clear itself up. Request to photograph Comair headquarters[edit]

Hello! I have contacted you because you are in the category "Wikipedians in Cincinnati." I would like for someone to photograph the corporate office buildings, including the Comair General Office Building, the Comair corporate headquarters at 77 Comair Boulevard, and the building at 82 Comair Boulevard, both in Erlanger, KY, at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Regional Airport. Since Comair is shutting down on September 29, 2012, I would like for someone to take this photo as soon as possible. I do not want for the Comair markings to be taken off of the buildings. New Challenge for Oceania and Australia[edit]

Hi, Wikipedia:WikiProject Oceania/The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia/The 5000 Challenge are up and running based on Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge which has currently produced over 2300 article improvements and creations. The Australia challenge would feed into the wider region one and potentially New Zealand could have a smaller challenge too. The main goal is content improvement, tackling stale old stubs and important content and improving sourcing/making more consistent but new articles are also welcome if sourced. I understand that this is a big goal for regular editors, especially being summertime where you are, but if you'd like to see large scale quality improvements happening for Oceania and Australia like The Africa Destubathon, which has produced over 1700 articles in 5 weeks, sign up on the page. The idea will be an ongoing national editathon/challenge for the region but fuelled by a series of contests to really get articles on every province and subject mass improved. The Africa contest scaled worldwide would naturally provide great benefits to Oceania countries, particularly Australia and attract new editors. I would like some support from existing editors here to get the Challenges off to a start with some articles to make doing a Destubathon worthwhile and potentially bring about hundreds of improvements in a few weeks through a contest!
