At Natalie Wood you asked why was a specific external link deleted. The reason is multiple, see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not as well as User:Jdavidb/Linkspam. Basically, any article with a link to one fan website means Wikipedia would have to link to every other fan site and for many stars, the number could be very substantial.
