Dear Charles RB: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any dicussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD! -- Psy guy Talk 20:01, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Master (Doctor Who)[edit]

Hi Charles - I didn't delete your contributions; just shifted them to where those details are more relevant. My rationale is that since already have articles for Master (Doctor Who audio) and Sympathy for the Devil (Doctor Who audio), those plot details can be placed there instead of filling up an already packed article, which should just stick to what's pertinent to it. Thanks. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 22:22, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Charles! Just wanted to say good work on the revision you made to the article today - my episode summary was really poor, and I was hoping someone like yo would come and sort it out! Well done! Scanna 19:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dalek[edit]

Please don't keep reverting. The current wording is much more concise and conveys all the necessary information. Also, avoid to insert spoilerage from trailers, especially since all will be made apparent in a few days. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 22:35, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, the edit you're inserting assumes that the Daleks are the same as from "our" universe (since the phrasing is that they "escaped"). This is also not apparent from their brief appearance so far. --22:44, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Ian Flynn[edit]

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Ian Flynn, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Image copyright problem with Image:JudgeDeathIrving.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:JudgeDeathIrving.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 12:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use disputed for Image:RobotniksRevenge.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RobotniksRevenge.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Shanazar[edit]

Shanazar, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Shanazar satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shanazar and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Shanazar during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Orphaned non-free media (Image:RobotniksRevenge.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RobotniksRevenge.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:07, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rangerboard[edit]

Do not use Rangerboard as a source for any article. WP:V directly prohibits forum postings from use on Wikipedia meaning that they are not allowed to be used as citations. Do not add the information again. —Mythdon (talkcontribs) 00:42, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Youtube[edit]

Youtube is not a reliable source. Youtube is not a secondary third-party reliable source. Use more reliable sources. Okay?. —Mythdon (talkcontribs) 19:26, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, again, Youtube is not a reliable source. I have undid your change to Power Rangers: RPM as you cited Youtube as a source. In addition, you added unsourced information. —Mythdon t/c 15:07, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your addition of the "Trivia" section on that article as the information was trivia and that it was unsourced. Please review our verifiability policy. Thanks. —Mythdon (talk) 21:15, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

Could you please stop adding "Trivia" sections to Power Rangers articles? This kind of information is unnecessary, and it is unprofessional. In addition, claiming that Power Rangers Turbo is Catherine Sutherland's favorite television series is not what this website needs to mention. —Mythdon (talk) 22:32, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again, I have removed your claim that Power Rangers Turbo is Catherine Sutherland's favorite television series. This information is not necessary or worth mentioning in an encyclopedia. It's just like writing in an article "so-and-so loves to eat pizza". Please stop adding the claim. —Mythdon t/c 15:03, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing claims[edit]

Okay. Please source your claims as long as the sources are compliant to WP:V and WP:RS. You can source a claim by using <ref>your reference</ref>. In addition, as I mentioned above twice, Youtube is not a WP:RS compliant sources. Any use of Youtube as a source will result in the claim being removed provided the claim only relies on Youtube as a source. The same goes for any video website. —Mythdon t/c 15:26, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Doomsday[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Doomsday (film), please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Attlee[edit]

Hi Charles. I hope you do not mind me pointing out, in the light of your recent edits, that Clement Attlee is spelt thus, with two Ts, not one. I've corrected them all (I hope!) :) Thanks and best wishes, DBaK (talk) 11:04, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Carnivac for deletion[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Carnivac, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carnivac until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Black Kite (t) (c) 22:53, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Shinkenger[edit]

Despite the fact that you, me, and everyone else who watched Shinkenger knows that the Power Rangers Samurai stuff comes from Shinkenger, that does not mean we can make the connection ourselves to state that the footage for Power Rangers Samurai is coming from Shinkenger. The only time we should be able to make this statement is when Saban uses the name "Shinkenger" in any media relating to Power Rangers Samurai, which is going to likely be when it appears in the ending credits of the first episode. It does not hurt Wikipedia to wait, but it does hurt Wikipedia to put in information that cannot be reliably verified.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:19, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, when you want to reuse references, you do not copy them from other parts of the page.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:22, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Do not add the words "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger" to Power Rangers Samurai, again. Making a comparison between your knowledge of what Shinkenger is and what Power Rangers Samurai will be is original research and that's forbidden. If you persist in adding this information, it will be considered edit warring.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:38, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Before you do anything, read this discussion. It's not confirmed no matter how much you can tell the Red Samurai Ranger is visually identical Shinken Red.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:40, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as on Talk:Power Rangers Samurai, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. —Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:36, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Audio theatre an article to audio dramas[edit]

Please if you have time and you know anything to it (I have seen that you have made edits in the article area which owns relations on it) , please look on the article Audio theatre, somebody placed a erase discussion on it. after we have had a merge discussion. It would be interesting what you would say to the merge and the delete discussion. And possibly it could help to contact other people that they should help also. )-: Merry Xmas --Soenke Rahn (talk) 09:36, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Panini FuryXMen.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Panini FuryXMen.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. NickAndMore.com[edit]

This is not a reliable source. Do not put it into an article, again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 01:53, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard/Archive 104#Clicker.com and Nick and More! and do not reinsert the massive section entirely sourced to them onto Power Rangers Samurai, again.—Ryulong (竜龙) 19:57, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Press Releases are reliable sources. NickAndMore.com simply is not. Also, we do not put spaces before ref tags. They have to be flush up against the punctuation or previous word. And it's better if you use the citation templates, rather than using a bare URL as the reference.—Ryulong (竜龙) 22:28, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Psi Division moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Psi Division, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Psi Division, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:35, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Psi Division[edit]

Hello, Charles RB. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Psi Division".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:01, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Pan-Africa (comics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fictional location. No evidence of stand-alone notability. Not a shred of analysis. Pure WP:PLOT and list of appearances in media. Fails GNG/NFICTION.

Notice

The article Trifecta (Judge Dredd story) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced article about a comic book plotline. The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. What makes this story notable? See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mechanismo At best, this can be redirected to Judge_Dredd#Major_storylines per the outcome of that other AfDs and several more since. No objection to replacing this prod by a redirect.
