Vandalism[edit]

The link to the poll that I put on four articles was not vandalism, and I was pretty surprised that you should think that. If you disapprove of this, I think the proper thing to have done would have been to write me a note, rather than simply delete them as "vandalism." I think you know that I am a fairly senior editor on this project, with a considerable number of edits and articles to my name, and to refer to my edits as vandalism is, as you might imagine, pretty offensive.

In any case, I have started a discussion of the poll at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Composers#Who are our readers?. If you think that this poll is such a terrible idea, I suggest you discuss it there. Thank you, --Ravpapa (talk) 05:53, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with CenturionZ 1's removal and left a note at the above talk page. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 08:28, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 19:26, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hamburg Concerto[edit]

Hello CenturionZ 1. I started contributing to Wikipedia recently, and have created an article (my first one) Hamburg Concerto on Ligeti's horn concerto. I was thinking of adding the compositions task force banner and the concerto stub template to it, but me being a (not so bold) newcomer, and you apparently being a founding member of this task force, I wanted to check with you first. I would very much appreciate a reviewer's opinion on my first attempt. Thanks beforehand for your reaction. Francesco Malipiero (talk) 13:37, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An article that you have been involved in editing, List of battles by casualties, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of battles by casualties. Thank you.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Rubikonchik (talk) 11:20, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP Classical Music in the Signpost[edit]

"WikiProject Report" would like to focus on WikiProject Classical Music for a Signpost article to be published this month. This is an excellent opportunity to draw attention to your efforts and attract new members to the project. Would you be willing to participate in an interview? If so, here are the questions for the interview. Just add your response below each question and feel free to skip any questions that you don't feel comfortable answering. Also, if you know anyone else who would like to participate in the interview, please share this with them. Have a great day! -Mabeenot (talk) 21:43, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
