December 2008[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Muhammad and slavery. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Dr.K. (logos) 05:52, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The merging of articles has the prerequisite of putting a merge proposal banner at the head of the article. Hence, enforcing that rule is an activity outside of 'edit warring'.CautiousWalk (talk) 06:00, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No it is not. If you read WP:3RR you will see that any 3 reversions outside of obvious vandalism qualify for 3RR. So if you reverted more than three times you would qualify because my actions were justified in the broader spirit of wp:3rr (long term edit warring, wp:spa, sockpuppetry etc, etc.). And you do seem to qualify at least for wp:spa status. This article has experienced more than its fair share of sockpuppetry, WP:SPA activity and block evasion tactics as well as long term edit warring and I don't think it needs more. However since you seem willing to discuss the matter I am willing to assume good faith on your part and not pursue this any further. Dr.K. (logos) 19:48, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
