No, we don't. To quote the policy "Ethnicity or sexuality should not generally be emphasized in the opening unless it is relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, previous nationalities or the country of birth should not be mentioned in the opening sentence unless they are relevant to the subject's notability." Anywhere you have seen this usage, whether it be Jewish-American, German-American, Italian-American, etc., is incorrect and should be removed. Yworo (talk) 06:17, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
