The article Willie Jerome Manning has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mark MacPhail requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Eeekster (talk) 00:28, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

relationship to IP 24. and .75[edit]

I have asked you previously what your relationship to IP 24.61.213.154] and IP:75.147.60.142] is, but got no response. Given the history (single purpose accounts on the topic of Troy Davis, all appearing at the same time, and all agreeing with each other) it seems evident that you are either the same person, or have some sort of off-wiki contact with each other. The fact that IP 24 commented here, 11 minutes later you asked me to make a keep comment there too [1], and 10 minutes later you entered a keep comment yourself [2] is more evidence that we either have meat or sockpuppetry at work here. I suggest that you read WP:SOCKPUPPET. Perhaps you can then explain what your relationship is to these other accounts, because it is getting to a point now where a trip to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations may be required.--Slp1 (talk) 16:20, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have had no off-wP contact with either of them. I don't know how you can call either of them single-purpose accounts since both of them have numerous other entries. I suspect they were watching the Troy Davis page and saw all the edits in the past 18 hours. I have engaged other users who have been working on this page. So have you and so has BBt223.Bundlesofsticks (talk) 18:47, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

February 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Starkville, Mississippi may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
