I just wanted to apologize for my post overwriting yours. It wasn't intentional and I didn't notice it until you reposted. I'm not sure how it happened as I didn't get an edit conflict, but my browser did crash and reopen the editing page automatically when I restarted and I guess this caused it to ignore your post. Alakazam

Might be a good idea to combine the descriptions of its appearance together into one paragraph, since some constants do persist. I'm thinking once we get the Abra-Kadabra-Alakazam article out we focus on getting what we have to GA, then on the rest. From the looks of it, the following will probably be able to work as articles if more reception can be found: Jesse, James, Meowth, Pichu, Unown, Psyduck, Snorlax, and maybe even Lucario. I'll keep an eye out for Eevee too, I noticed you mentioned that one and I think it might work. But for the time being I think if we focus on getting the rest of these to GA's, we should have an easier time making a dent with the rest as time progresses.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 00:00, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

Jynx in manga

The species articles

I think I've tapped all I could (still got a few bits to add), and from the looks of it Magikarp, Gyarados, and Gengar might work down the line if more comes out, with Venonat, Scyther and Haunter on the sidelines as lesser possibilities. With that said I think we should be fine developing the ones I put up there at WT:POKE, the only one I'm worrying about in any way is Lucario but it shouldn't be too bad (anime reviews may help immensely there), though Anime News Network and Mania.com were already a bust in that regard.

Still, 13 articles back when we were pretty much on the ropes is shaping up to make this a good year for the project.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 01:33, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Yep, this is working good. Bulbasaur got cut, but we have gained Charizard, Jynx, and Mr. Mime, plus more in the near future. I will try to get to writing their list sections so you can incorporate them into articles. _Blake ^{(Talk·Edits)} 01:36, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

An IGN staffer ended up continuing the "Pokemon of the Day" articles in 2002 and beyond, notably with less insanity than the previous one that had a ton of articles but very few usable. I haven't been through the entire archive but it should give some bulk. I disregarded it as just a regular user until Rayquaza popped up on the radar and I looked deeper into it.

There is more than one which inevitably will start edit wars, which I have seen occurring already. Anothet thing is that links to personal sites is not allowed which is what these clearly are.
