- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:

Nick Khan[edit]
Hi Binary, Hope you're well. It was a case of great minds thinking a like on the Nick Khan front. I'd been working on the draft this afternoon too, following the recent TKO announcements and Netflix deal. I archived all my sources from the Wayback Machine, and used notable WP:RSP sources. I edit my drafts in my Sandbox, and copy and paste them to a Notepad document before publishing them. I can show you this if you like. I didn't clock your draft until I was publishing mine, and if anything I helped further as yours was taken back to draft space due to a lack of sourcing. No offence. Please don't think I've copied you. Nick Khan has had some relatively high-profile clients including Ariel Helwani (that's worth noting, but no sources mention in it in text, so we'd need to source a video).
